This pouring out of God's spirit upon the flesh of all his faithful anointed witnesses does not mean those now serving as Jehovah's witnesses are inspired. It does not mean that the writings in this magazine The Watchtower are inspired and infallible and without mistakes. It does not mean that the president of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society is inspired and infallible, although enemies falsely charge us with believing so. - 1947

As Jehovah'sWitness I had all the freedom as anybody else and more. I interacted with all sort of people from different backgrounds, enjoyed life. I haven't been been under the influence of organised religion or any other stupid superstitions. It did not affect my education ( It's only the religious organisation which calls itself JW which puts all kind of unnecessary constraints on people). I only stayed away from any kind of idolatry.
Yes, you are free people! So don't use your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but live as God's servants.
Respect everyone. Show your love to the community of believers. Have reverence for GodI cannot make anyone believe that the Bible is true unless they agree . It s the only book where I can get all the anwers regarding our short existence. Most other books and philosophers only rise more questions regarding the matter. Making certain achievements, developing moral character or learning from relationships with other people are some answers but they are worthless for me if I don't connect with God. I see God as liberator not a vengeful, threatening and slavish God. What humans have achieved since they assumed leadership. We tend happilly to obey humans, accept their weaknesses and injustice but when it comes to God we become very critical.

Mind Games and building alternate realities. Our brain is very susceptible to that. It s more like a maze. We need to figure a way out. Most people just follow others lead just because is more simpler. Some other choose their own way. Yes, free will its our greatest gift. Every person in this world, no matter what his role in life, is a searcher for truth.

We all have the freedom to make sense of the information and facts around us. Nobody should force any ideology on others, although we are exposed to many througout our lifetime. Discussions are helpful if they are constructive but each individual should to make own decission.

Our brain is designed like a computer. All its parts has a role to play. See "The Chimp Paradox. The Mind Management Programme for Confidence, Success and Happiness.Dr Steve Peters (2012)"

Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
I believe our brain is not designed or capable to comprehend the concept of being eternal.

There is so much evidence around us that God exists! You only need to open your eyes and you will see that everything was made by inteligent life. It's just a different form of life we cannot see or understand. The only evidence is in the Bible. Cloud formation, water cycle in nature, the jet stream, photosynthesis, the laws of physics and the ultimate machine that is human body ( just to name a few). They are all evidence of God's (as we call Him) existence as a living and inteligent Being(Who creates you is your god). Everything is pure science. You cannot assemble randomly the parts of an engine or any other machine and expect to work. You need knowledge, skills and plannig.
As for the second coming of Jesus and the fall of organised religion there is plenty of evidence. Two world wars (The 20th century was the most murderous in recorded history. The period from 1914 to 1945 can be regarded as a single "30 years' war" interrupted only by a pause in the 1920s - between the final withdrawal of the Japanese from the Soviet Far East in 1922 and the attack on Manchuria in 1931. This was followed, almost immediately, by some 40 years of cold war, which conformed to Hobbes's definition of war as consisting "not in battle only or the act of fighting, but in a tract of time wherein the will to contend by battle is sufficiently known". )
And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying. For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.”
The humankind managed to put together just the wheel along the whole of its history, and as recent as two generations ago people were still ploughing the land with horses and look at us now? All this technology and science thrown at us in such a short time span. And the cultural and educational revolutions?!
There is also the preaching of the Gospel by all protestant denominations.
04 B.C. + 2,520 + 1 (for there being no year zero) = A.D. 1917; and this year was awaited with considerable anticipation of developments favouring the Jews. These hopes were not disappointed, as both the Balfour Declaration, in which the British Government looked with favour on the estab-lishment of a Palestinian national home for the Jews, and the taking of Jerusalem from the Otto-man Turkish desolators by British forces, seemed to pave the way for the formation of a Jewish state.(Of course this was a scam of the devil regarding the "seven times punishment" as it applied to the spiritual Israel. Nothing was random. It all happened in the 20th century when the time was right)
As for the religion it started to fall since the french revolution when people started to question the devine right of the kings and the church to rule. And then at the end of the 19th century begining of 20th century the church lost its executive power. It was separeted from the state, stripped of its land and many other possesions. And from there on its decline never stopped. The percentage of people that claim to have no religion in all christian countries is going up and is going up fast(and will get even faster after the pandemic), especially in the last 10-15 years. American and European churches are empty. The church attendace is at minimum low. People do no want to be associated with religion anymore. ( Just as an example in Ireland one of the most religious countries in the western world when Pope John Paul II visited the country in 1979, 2.5 million attended this event. Fast forward 2018 at the next visit of the Pope in Ireland only 130000 people turned up and most of them from inside the church. Big contrast!) In Europe religion is long forgotten. It is the so called Christian religion that God has a quarrel. Pagan religions never pretended to serve Him. The Pandemic showed clearly that people don't look at the religion to save them anymore as they did in past pandemics. They simply shut it down like something unnecessarily.

I like to stick with the Bible.
but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;

What was Jesus "anointed" as?
by Doug Mason init is illogical to say that “jesus was anointed as christ”.
that’s like saying that “jesus was anointed as anointed”.
the question that needs to be asked is: “what was jesus anointed as?”.

Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin.
For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’

I haven't actually. I cannot say much about his writings. I do read mostly 30s and 40s.
