While the developed doctrine of the Trinity is not explicit in the books that constitute the New Testament, the New Testament possesses a "triadic" understanding of God[6] and contains a number of Trinitarian formulas.[7] The doctrine of the Trinity was first formulated among the early Christians and fathers of the Church as early Christians attempted to understand the relationship between Jesus and God in their scriptural documents and prior traditions.[8]The Comma Johanneum in 1 John 5:7, is a disputed text which states: "There are three that testify in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one." However, this passage is not considered to be part of the genuine text,[a] and most scholars agree that the phrase was a gloss.[11]

When Christianity was spreading across the Empire, it's clear that it deliberately took images from the pagan world in which it lived and into which it spread and used those images. Old holy wells and shrines were turned into Christian shrines. In Egypt a shrine of Isis was deliberately and self-consciously re-created as a shrine of Mary.

The survival of ancient communities was intimately dependent upon the fertility of the land, so their religious symbolism and festivals reflected this fundamental bond between humans and the cycles of nature. A number of Catholic holidays and myths parallel the timeline and adopt the symbols of pre-Christian fertility festivals. In Catholicism, Jesus Christ is thought to have been born on December 25, Christmas Day. In pre-Christian Roman religions, the Winter Solstice was a core sacred event that took place on December 25 at the time of the Julian calendar. The best known custom was the Roman festival of Saturnalia, which was celebrated similar to Christmas with drinking, fires, gift-giving, and tree worship.

The cross is actually an ancient pagan symbol that only later began its association with Christianity some 300 years after Jesus' time during the reign of the pagan Emperor Constantine. The cross symbol was used long before the Christian era, one form of which goes back at least to the ancient Egyptian ankh.

The naming of the celebration as “Easter” seems to go back to the name of a pre-Christian goddess in England, Eostre, who was celebrated at beginning of spring. The only reference to this goddess comes from the writings of the Venerable Bede, a British monk who lived in the late seventh and early eighth century.

All so called "christian" practices and doctrines promoted by the catholic church primarily are of roman and other pagan origins. Papacy was nothing but a continuation of the roman empire. The roman empire could not stop the spread of the true christianity and they adopted it in a form that suited them. Probably most people know these facts in the internet era.

What Is Truth?

just because you believe something as truth, it doesn’t make it truth.

religious leaders may be admired and believed but they could be dead wrong.

politicians can spout out “facts” that support their truth yet once further evidence comes through these facts are questionable.

Without gravity, the air in the atmosphere has no reason to hang around, and it would immediately leap into space. ... Without an atmosphere, any living thing would die immediately and anything liquid would boil away into space. In other words, no one would last long if the planet didn't have gravity.

This process is called cellular respiration. During cellular respiration the cell uses oxygen to break down sugar. Breaking down sugar produces the energy your body needs. This is very similar to wood burning in a fire.

Oxygen plays a critical role in respiration, the energy-producing chemistry that drives the metabolisms of most living things. We humans, along with many other creatures, need oxygen in the air we breathe to stay alive. Oxygen is generated during photosynthesis by plants and many types of microbes.

The human heart is an organ that pumps blood throughout the body via the circulatory system, supplying oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and removing carbon dioxide and other wastes.

The lungs absorb oxygen from the air you breathe in and transfer it into your bloodstream so that it can get to every part of your body. As the cells in your body work, they produce a waste gas called carbon dioxide that is released into the bloodstream. Your lungs get rid of this waste gas when you breathe out.

The list is endless and it's key to move, as our bodies were not designed for lazy living they were designed to move. The human body is made up of 360 joints and over 700 muscles and our vascular and nervous system depend on movement to function

The human body can't live without some sodium. It's needed to transmit nerve impulses, contract and relax muscle fibers (including those in the heart and blood vessels), and maintain a proper fluid balance.

Their shape allows them to act in the same way as a spring, bearing the weight of the body and absorbing the shock produced during locomotion. The flexibility conferred to the foot by these arches facilitates functions such as walking and running.

The examples can go on and on. We are surrounded by science. None of this science is random. This is the Truth.

2 Thessalonians 2:1‭-‬12

They say there is no evil slave but the day of the Lord has come. The Bible contradicts them. If they say the Catholic church is the man of lawlessness, it has been around for about 1700 years. They say the beast of the revelation is the UN and yet they join the beast and praise her for maintainig the world peace so they can preach the gospel undisturbed . They say the superior authorities are from satan and in the same time ministers of God. They also say that Jesus is not worthy of worship and we cannot pray to Him. The bible again contradicts them.There is nothing to defend. Their late teachings are contradictory and not consistent.

so this must be political correctness on steroids.. i have occasionally heard the name steve hassan mentioned in relation to the watchtower.

but even watchtower helps people to escape cults.

One of the main conclusions of Milgram’s work was that under certain conditions involving the presence of authority, people suspend their capacity to make informed moral judgments and defer responsibility for their actions to those in authority. When people are in this particular frame of mind, the nature of the task that they are asked to perform becomes largely irrelevant, and the main determinant of their actions is the commands of the authority figure.

Do you think “Eventually” the Whole World will become Socialist?

when i say; “socialist” i don’t mean everyone is equal.

instead i am referring to “leaders” being rich and powerful, whereas the ordinary citizen being poor, and powerless.. i was surprise that the majority of the world is run by socialist government.

the last few countries that are not socialist are the united states and parts of europe.

I lived in a communist country. In the beginning they got rid of all the elites (intellectuals and politicians), they banned religion and other ideologies not in line with the state's party. Then they started to raise into power simple and uneducated people loyal to the communist party. Next generation was brainwashed and persuaded that communism is better than capitalism. They portrayed capitalism as ruthless and unfair. They gave people everything for free: housing, schooling, healthcare. Eventually, they run out of money and collapsed. Everything was like a big concentration camp. One in ten people was giving info to the state's security. There was proximity militia in every neighbourhood. There was perfect control. And you will be surprised that the vast majority of people were happy with that situation. The little dissent was easy to silence. Corruption was everywhere. Their biggest problem was money. They were not very good at making anything profitable.

However, China seems to be the ultimate authoritarian state. Communist leadership powered by capitalist economy. Time will tell.
