Two New Members of the Governing Body
by Diogenesister inbreaking news from jw.org..... "we are pleased to inform you that two additional brothers have been appointed to serve as members of the governing body of jehovah’s witnesses: brothers gage fleegle and jeffrey winder.
both brothers are anointed christians who have a long history of loyal service to jehovah.
brother fleegle began his full-time service in 1989 and bethel service in 1991. brother fleegle has served as a helper to the service committee of the governing body.

Love - the Identifying Mark of Real Christians?

they love each other.. i was reading the gospel of luke today and thought about the words of jesus luke 6:32-35 niv, “if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?
even sinners love those who love them.

How many doubt the GB official teaching about who will survive
by Indoubtbigtime ini wonder how many have doubts about the gb teaching that only baptised jws would survive the big a?
even then they still only say you may make it as with unbaptised kids of jdubs.
i think most people physically in don’t agree with the gb on this and are hoping jehovah would let other good people into the new world even if they are not baptised jws.

I doubt wt has any authority to offer, or guarantee survival. On the record, Their promise of "millions now living will never die " in 1918 is now proven baseless ( a 118 year old nun just died) she was not a potential Armageddon survivor either, , not being baptized into the spirit directed wt organisation.
If you take the bible seriously though:
a) An angel or 2 could in one night or day sort out all the good ones , (see exodus / passover and survival of the firstborn, sheep and chickens too).
b) Angels could protect the chosen ones even in a nuclear holocaust, at > 9000 degree kelvin ( see 3 hebrews +1 in the 7x hotter furnace).-- now,
if only there really was a talking snake for the angel angle.

How do JWs know that millions who were martyred as Christians before the 20th century did not have the heavenly hope?

the other sheep christians did not start forming until after 1914. that means jehovah’s witnesses view millions martyred for their faith in christ prior to the 20th century as merely professed christians.. the question is…how do witnesses know that those millions who perished for their faith in christ were not christians at all?.

easy. since the writing of Revelation, or before, Christians' hoped for the coming of the Lord, in their generation.
a). these martyrs, although qualifying for the heavens, following Re,20:3, will not make it the wt way though, because they did not grasp and embrace the overlapping groups generation doctrine. for 2000 years, that's what I call an overlap.
b) they believed, like Peter the first, and were awaiting an new Heavens and Earth.
