He returned to tell his boss he'd finished the job at the Hall. The boss replied, "Hall!? I told you to go to the mall!"
Must have followed the driver back to his bosses office to know that hm?

does jehovah know what is going on, and does he help?
1. the bomb planted in the kingdom hall in australia, where one brother was killed, was meant to kill everyone, and would have; but the bomb rolled backwards so the force or the blast was away from the friends, rather than aimed at them

since leaving the jw's most of us have also left most of their doctrine.
so that being the case, most of us have left the wt understanding of 1914. now you know that the wt claims that satan was hurled out of heaven in that year down to the vicinity of the earth.
so the question is: if 1914 is just another year to us, then what are your thoughts as to the whereabouts of satan and his followers?.
Where exactly is Satan?
God (remember him, the all knowing one?) asks much the same question at the begining of the book of Job.
God: Where have you come from?
Satan: From being on the Earth and walking up and down.
I dont think the book of Job was written in 1914 though
my mother called me last night and shared with me something my dad just discovered in doing some research on the internet.
it is out of the book published by the wathchtower in 1966, entitled, "life everlasting in freedom of the sons of god".. my parents have the book, and listen to what was written about adam and bestiality.... page 45, para.
before god created anything new, a woman, god left the man free to determine whether there was a suitable companion for him among all the lower animals.
How could Adam have named all the animals in a single day?
Strangely enough, Adam was only required to name animals that were know to the Israelites.
I wonder why?
i got this email and i thought i would share.
i got a chuckle out of it.
at morning worship with the bethel family, bro.
The co-worker asks: "Aren't they the ones that don't accept blood
transfusions?" "Yes", the driver replies.
Typical that they say in the publications that it's a personal choice, but examples like that show it isn't.
thought i would bump to the top this excellent tape recording of a judicial meeting.
you will find the person "on trial" has bneen a elder himself.
once he realised things were not adding up he ended up disassociating himself along with his wife.
All those cities he mentioned; I live close to. It's interesting that these elders actually listened to what they had to say instead of just saying "Do you believe this is the Truth?" like so many JCs nowadays.
I wonder why this is?
Could it be a dumming down of the 'elder class'? A resignation in trying to discuss/defend doctrine? A policy shift (as in 'just get rid of them')?

Really good DA letter that was read out on the tape.
My thoughts when the elders of the committee were talking about 'Gods organisation in the first century' that they failed to see that Paul, who was mentioned, not only critisised the organisation (in his argument with Peter) but effected a change in policy (over circumcision).
Something that would not be allowed to happen in the Jehovah's Witnesses organisation.
as i mentioned before in another thread, my dub aunt, along with several other witnesses, told me that they were specifically told that the governing body let it be known that tract work would trigger the beginning of the end by infuriating the other religions and somehow causing the governments to "turn on babylon the great".
this was supposed to start before the end of this year.
one thing i mentioned is that they were smart enough this time, not to put anything down in writing, but simply let it get around by "word of mouth".
One man, many IP addresses is all you have proven. I am still only one man. What is your point?
My point is that if you are all you say you are, you would not have to hide behind many identities.

Is it not part of the problem that many people want answers, but try to get them ALL from the same source instead of ‘shopping around’?
For example, a mechanic would be the person to ask the question ‘How do I change my brakes?’
An accountant would be the person to ask ‘How do I balance my chequebook?’
Joining something like the JW’s or any one religious group IMO, leaves the joiner in a position where they are expected to accept ALL of the interpretations and beliefs held by that group.
Maybe needs the question, ‘Do you do ALL your shopping at just one store?’
Your thoughts?
ok, i'm writing this thru tears as i just found out in the last 5 minutes.
my dad died in august, and they had been together just 1 or 2 weeks over 70 years married!
i didn't expect her to last without him, and visa versa.. i just tried to call my sister, and no answer there.

How do you feel about sending the story to (their) local newspaper, entitled something like 'This loving Religion'?
