  just to let you know that i have returned safely from my holidays with my man and it was the best holiday!!.

  unfortunately we didnt have alot of money to spend and my car needed two new tyres while we were away so we spent most of the time "sleeping" in and going to the beach.. we went snorkling one day which was nice and canoeing another day.

  i have never done either of these things before so it was a great experience.. i didnt get to melbourne so didnt get to meet beck which made me a little sad but there is always the apostofest in march right!!.

  QUESTION??

  after leaving jehovah's witnesses we experience much confusion.

  what should we believe about god, religion, death , life , war, health, sex etc.etc?

  usually we search out other ideas or beliefs and again find ourselves groping for another "world view" that will , at last give us peace.

  silent lambs sabotaged

  our worst fears has happened the website has been sabotaged.

  we are working to restore a back up copy and will try to get up running soon.

  i have asked the new webmaster to provide an explanation when he can.

  silentlambs would not access through my bookmark in favoutites, however, i managed to get onto the site ( what appears to be the old style site) by using a link provided in Trauma_Hounds thread,

  When I tried to open any of the site links, (FAQ etc), I got a message part of which said

  Why would Bill Bowen try to destroy the very cause that he helped to start?

  Its not my place to speculate

  People have been known to change agenda's for various reasons.

  I am not saying things have changed with Mr Bowen.

  He confuses me with his 'Enraged Elder' attitude.

  What on earth is happening ?

  First Bill Bowen alienates appproximatly 50% of Ex JW's by his apparent 'attack' on Ray Franz, now he 'fires' his 'portal to the world'.

  If I had to create a profile of someone who was out to destroy the silentlambs cause, I would not have to look far for someone to fit it.

  Everytime Mr Bowen opens his mouth it seems like he is attacking one or more of the people who are supporters of silentlambs/ExJW's.

  Can anyone CONFIRM that Mr Bowen has actually LEFT the WT?

  Also can anyone confirm that Mr Bowen has told people/recomended that people stay away from this site, that (if true) sounds like, read only what we publish, a familiar phrase.

  I am very confused here, it seems to me that Mr Bowen is directing all his anger at the SUPPORTERS of silentlambs, and at ExJW's, why would he do that? (if that is the case)?

  Did U hurt someone because of JW rules?

  i know we all make mistakes but did you ever really hurt someone while you were a jw, because of sticking to their darn rules?

  did you ever, even as it was happening, feel selfrighteous?.

  it is something that i have been thru over and over in my head and i have forgiven myself for it, but i can never make it right with the person i hurt.. my dad was an elder , very self righteous, he taught me well, i did what ever he said and acted the way he told me too.

  Gasoline Price in your area

  yesterday alone the price of gasoline went up 9 cents a liter here in eastern canada passing from 68 to 77 cents a liter.

  a one day jump of 9 cents a liter is equal to about 40 cents a gallon.

  so now we pay 77 cents a liter or 3.50$ a canadian gallon.

  Here in England Gasoline is 0.80 per Litre (ave price in midlands). Todays exchange 1.00 = $1.65 American. I will let you do the math.
