Reminder re: Spammers
by Simon injust a reminder about spammers.. please ignore them!.
they are idiots, we have a real "gay-for-j" zealot right now who hasn't got the message that they are not wanted and no one is interested in their bible-fantasy gibberish.
there's a certain irony that their own site is covered in "don't spam" rules but they think it's acceptable to do it to others.

Dancing Cockatoo, Living His Best Life, a Lesson For All of Us
by Simon inso this is a sad story, i believe the cockatoo was neglected after his owner died (relatives just kept it locked up and the cage covered) so it plucked its feathers.
the new owners rescued it and are giving it the care, love, and attention it needs.. they discovered that it loves to dance so they share these adorable videos of it rocking out.. it reminded me what a great lesson there is for all of us - don't wallow in the past, live your best life now and enjoy your new freedom and be happy.. be like griffi.. also, it has way better moves than me.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayos5kvlxn8.

Its seeing sights like the first Cockatoo "Griffi " that makes me think birds should be left in the wild the way nature made them to be.

Will You Get Back To Normal After Covid Subsides?
by minimus insome say we will never get back to pre-pandemic days.
others say we should expect to live with masks and social distancing as the “new normal “.
still others are hopeful that we can live life realizing there might never be an end to covid or cancer or influenza but our lives must continue to go on.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, called the assertion that the coronavirus originated in a lab “a circular argument.”
“If you look at the evolution of the virus in bats and what’s out there now,” there’s a strong scientific case that “this could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated,” Fauci said in an interview with National Geographic. “Everything about the stepwise evolution over time strongly indicates that [this virus] evolved in nature and then jumped species.”
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence had previously issued a statement to the same effect: “The intelligence community also concurs with the wide scientific consensus that the COVID-19 virus was not man-made or genetically modified.”
“All available evidence to date suggests that the virus has a natural animal origin and is not a manipulated or constructed virus,” Dr. Gauden Galea said in an interview released by the WHO. “Many researchers have been able to look at the genomic features of the virus and have found that evidence does not support that it is a laboratory construct.”

The probability of a virus like this escaping a controlled lab is extremely low.
The probability of animals such as wild bats brought to a wet shop for sale in a highly condensed market place with both other animals and humans is a much higher probability.
The Chinese government realizes this so that's why this newly enforced ban.
There is a theory that the Wuhan lab created the virus itself and there was an accidental contamination to someone working there and that's how the virus spread to the open public but the supporting evidence of that is weak.

Did you read those articles I just posted Min. ?
Maybe they came from trees ?
Bat soup isn't the issue, its wild bats having a version of the virus passing it onto other animals, then passing it onto humans as receptors.

. Infectivity experiments were undertaken with HeLa cells expressing or not expressing ACE2 from humans, bats, civets, pigs and mice, and the results confirmed that SARS-CoV-2 virus was able to use entry receptors on all ACE2-expressing cells other than mice5. Molecular modelling has indicated that the binding affinity of SARS-CoV-2 to ACE-2 may be even higher than that of SARS-CoV and it may therefore be more efficient at infecting human cells17. Evidence from the sequence analyses clearly indicates that the reservoir host of the virus was a bat, probably a Chinese or Intermediate horseshoe bat, and it is probable that, like SARS-CoV, an intermediate host was the source of the outbreak

It’s been confirmed that the outbreak stemmed from a wholesale meat market in Wuhan. The virus was found in the area where live animals were kept, according to a 2020 articleTrusted Source from the journal Microbiology Australia.
This doesn’t mean that the virus began in the market, though. It only means the market played a role in spreading the virus. In fact, a 2020 studyTrusted Source in the Lancet found that 14 of the first 41 people confirmed to have COVID-19 didn’t visit the market. This suggests there are other sources.
According to a study shared by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), it’s possible that bats with the new coronavirus were introduced to the market. This might have allowed recombination, or viruses exchanging genetic material to create a new virus.
Therefore, bats may have played a role in the COVID-19 outbreak -

What Will Happen If You Do NOT Get The Covid Vaccinations?
by minimus inwe are encouraged to all, if possible, get the vaccinations.
if you don’t, we are told that we definitely could get the virus.
fair enough.. but what happens if you decide you aren’t going to get the shots?

Canada has so far approved four different coronavirus vaccines. During the global clinical trials, the shots from Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson showed high efficacy rates – ranging from 62 per cent to 95 per cent – in preventing moderate to severe COVID-19 illness.
But there are still many unanswered questions about whether the vaccines can also suppress transmission – that is, keep vaccinated people from acquiring the virus and spreading it to others. There are a number of ongoing studies looking at the effectiveness of the vaccines on transmission – and preliminary data is promising.
0:52 Ipsos poll finds 69% would take COVID-19 vaccination without hesitation Ipsos poll finds 69% would take COVID-19 vaccination without hesitation – Mar 9, 2021According to a pre-print analysis in The Lancet medical journal – not yet peer-reviewed – the AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccine was shown to reduce the rate of positive PCR tests by half when two doses were given. There was a 67 per cent reduction after one dose.
A study by Cambridge University in the U.K. suggests that a single dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine can reduce fourfold the number of asymptomatic COVID-19 infections. These results released on Feb. 26 are yet to be peer-reviewed.
Meanwhile, another Israeli study published in the Lancet medical journal on Feb. 18 found an 85 per cent reduction in symptomatic COVID-19 infections within 15 to 28 days of receiving a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, with an overall reduction in infections, including asymptomatic cases detected by testing, of 75 per cent. These are encouraging signs for ending the pandemic, as preventing infection in those who have been vaccinated means there is no virus that can be passed on to others.
“If you never get infected, then it’s also possible that you won’t transmit it to other people,” said Gerald Evans, an infectious disease specialist at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont.
Pfizer is currently testing a subset of Phase 3 trial participants to look for evidence of symptomatic and asymptomatic infection.
“Understanding whether the vaccine can stop the transmission of the virus will be an important tool for the continued rollout of the vaccine and to inform public health planning efforts and recommendations,” Christina Antoniou, director of corporate affairs of Pfizer Canada, told Global News in an emailed statement.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there is limited evidence about the performance of the COVID-19 vaccines to prevent infection or transmission. However, it is “reasonable to assume there will be some level of protection against transmission,” the U.N. health agency said in an emailed statement to Global News.
Evans said while more data is needed to determine the vaccination’s impact in real-world settings, he believes vaccines are the “number one tool” at our disposal and will substantially curb COVID-19 spread.
“I’m estimating about 75 to 80 per cent reduction in transmission,” he said.

with two men having sex in the background.
Well to be honest its looks two guys close one behind another in what one wouldn't consider an actual sex position.
By the way speaking of sex Rutherford was a adulterater who lived with his mistress in the Beth Sarim mansion while he was separated from his wife.
How's that for righteous wholesome virtue for a known and appraised JWS.
Tell that to a JWS now days and watch their mouth drop and head spin.

Oh sure I'm quite confident governments will lift social restrictions once the greater population is vaccinated and the positive cases come down to almost nothing.
I dont believe this virus is going away completely though out the global human population.
Lets put it this way, they are going to have to or there is going to be trouble for them if they dont. ( ie. protests, riots )
Sooner or later the Covid virus experience will go down in history as one big major screw up caused by ignorant people bringing live or dead wild animals (Bats) into a public market place.
China has supposedly banned that or made it unlawful now ........good !
