this is interesting.. you've probably heard of "asymptomatic spread" which is, people who are infected with the virus and are spreading it, but who have no symptoms.. but is it accurate?

is it supported by the statistics?.

How is it possible to conclude a set percentage of asymptomatic cases if the people who have the virus with no symptoms aren't being tested in the first place ?

What about these new variant strains that are more contagious, that too would throw the numbers off somewhat ?

Its obvious that people are annoyed that the entire general population is going under serious social restrictions to perhaps save the lives of 1% or less of the population.

Include myself as one the annoyed and pissed off but I understand what governments are doing and the reason behind it.

Mankind has to get control of this virus and its possible mutant variants, understand it, examine it. immunize people and learn how to block it out of transmission .

much discussion now about the fallout that is coming due to impacts of the pandemic combined with the long-term downward spiral of jw.org.

i am active as a pimo and my wife is pimi....much of our personal conversation and conversation with others in jw land focuses on how things will play out for jw.org in the next 12-24 months.

Highly doubtful , the WTS heads know by doing something like that they would break apart the organization to nothing.

I always found glorifying people who act, who get paid millions to act and who we are suppose to worship more so than any other people, socially irresponsible and reprehensible.

Quite frankly I think much of the media today has gone down hill from what was apparent in the past both in music and movies.

The quality just isn't there, but maybe that's less important since your selling and marketing your product mostly to teenagers.

One thing we should accept is that the information about this virus and its effects onto populations is that its changes from one region to another, partly due to the variants that appear.

Statistical analysis has to be drawn from documented data which is not totally complete to the population at large, such as having the entire population tested once a week.

The data is clear though that close social interaction does cause a spread of the virus which some but few end up in a in ICU ward and some die from the causative symptoms of the virus.

As the cases increase many hospitals have to defer other medical needed help to work with people with the virus.

If you were a government official how would you handle this situation ?

Zoom Social Event With a GB Member (Losche)

in a recent turn of events, i found myself at a jw social gathering on zoom (supporting my pimi wife, while among mostly jws whom i don't know and a handful of old friends who don't know i'm inactive) that just so happened to also be joined by garrett losche and his wife.

sorry to disappoint but i had absolutely no interaction with him and have nothing interesting to report about it.

i'm just sharing this because i can't believe i even got that close to maybe chatting with him, despite being a closeted apostate.. there were about 300 people in the zoom meeting, all having been directly invited.

There is an assuming concept that GB men are supposed to be biblicaly well read and knowledgeable about JWS doctrines and so forth, that is where most of the pressure rests in being a member.

One of Losch's most notable statements is when he was giving a talk and said getting or pursuing higher education is like putting a gun to your head playing Russian roulette with your spirituality, you may not survive.

Hypocritical asshole probably went and got a Covid vaccine from people who got and pursued higher education.

If you were working at Bethel and you knew there was a GB position to be filled , I'm sure there would be more than a few that would strive to get that position knowing all of the engaging perks, knowing you could live a well cared for life without money being an issue and have a place to permanently live.

Remember there are a lot of elderly JWS men who didn't save for a retirement due to the end coming soon.

Money (not theirs personally), power, privilege, adulation, self glorification, perks like traveling around the world paid for by the WTS, complete health and dental care, are just some of the things the GB men of he JWS acquire when they become a GB member.

Nice gig if you can get it, particularly for men who are elderly.

But as its been noted by talks by Gerrit Lösch you have be totally corrupt and dishonest in propagating the WTS/JWS doctines

Jah doesn't follow buildings, he follows money and his chosen earthy organization (JWorg) is getting quite good in the real estate business these days.

Wouldn't it be more appropriate for JWS to dedicate the local bank the WTS uses to Jehovah ?

Single Pretty Girls that are JWs, have so much potential, but sadly........

the pandemic has made the situation worse for single young jw girls.. i'm hearing tons of sad stories of single jw girls who are going, or have gone into deep depression.

with many having thoughts of committing suicide and hoping for a better life in the new order.. the pandemic has made it almost impossible for young jw girls to find a suitable marriage mate.

especially since the single jw boys-men want young, gorgeous, thin, virgins, who look like models and summit to the headship arrangement.

This is just another indication of how controlling the JWS religion is.

For example my JWS parents came from different religions when they were in their late teens but they still got together and ended up marrying.

Mother Catholic , father Anglican.

This isn't the only highly controlling religious organization out there that imposes this upon its devoted adherents.

Marry in the faith/organization first or your in trouble, marry out of love well maybe
