Wow, Jesus trusts them? That's so cool. Jesus must be in communication with them, right?
Oh, wait, Geoffrey Jackson said he wishes he could ask Jesus about the 2 witness rule but he can't right now. Too bad for them.

of all the things that the watchtower has done wrong, what would you say is the singular most powerful thing that you could point a jw to, to crack their eyes open?
what is the singular thing that can be expressed bluntly and conclusively that might shock a jw to their senses?
if you could only carry one arrow in your quiver on your way to war with watchtower, what would it be?.
The org would reject a page from Ray Franz's book for numerous other reasons as well. :p They can and do reject anything.
several years ago, i was introduced to a "wonderful" company called fortune hi tech marketing by a brother and his wife.
they had been introduced by a former sheriff who claims he had researched the company and found no leins or judgments, and that former sheriff had been brought in by a pastor.
you can read what happened with fhtm on wikipedia if you so desire.. this whole new idea of multilevel marketing had my brain reeling, though, and soon enough, i actually signed up with none other than prepaid legal.

Excellent point, undercover. They've gotten away with that extortion this long.
I've heard of brothers writing in "Jehovah", etc. if they're required to vote.
I know it's technically a conscience decision since 1999, but it hasn't been taught that way any time since. An elder told us in 2009 about an African American sister who'd been disfellowshipped for voting for Barack Obama without repenting. Another sister, perhaps her friend, was repentant and reproved.
Of course, the Watchtower saying it's a conscience issue was in 1999 and WOL goes back to 2000.

I just remember being a little kid who had to study this in the early 90s, then again years later, maybe once more if I'm not misremembering, and again when they revised some text.
I wasn't an adult who'd been in the truth for years. "Revelation: Its Grand Climax At Hand" came out when I was 3. You don't get to show me that, repeatedly, and then lie about your involvement with the United Nations.

@Island Man, heh. I like how God's will has to be instigated.
