  Just like I would ask a family member for forgiveness for showing those qualities towards them, I would ask forgiveness to God.

  @sparrowdown

  Those on here can perhaps point me to resources where they beleive these facts are. What's wrong with asking and having a discussion on a discussion forum?

  However, to one person (when it comes to religion) their beleif is fact and the other person's beleif is wrong and is an opinion.

  So I guess I am technically asking for both?

  As I've stated, this is a group of like minded individuals who went through the same thing.

  Many here also probably read the works of scholars and theologians as they went through what I am going through now and can share what they've learned.

  I'm not sure what the objective of your posts are.

  Even some of the greatest minds will admit that although it is highly unlikely that God exists, they still cannot prove that he/she does not exist.

  This is what I base the POSSIBILITY of there being a divine creator; that and my hope and faith that there is one.

  You'll notice that I never (or rarely) speak in absolutes, because somedays I have faith and others not.

  What if Divine Sovereignty came from the Divine? I cannot disprove it (or prove it).

  I'm not basing my life on that. I think you are reading into that post what isn't there.

  I can only reference my own experiences and being a JW was one of them.

  All I'm saying is that my view of a loving God is one who accepts those who may not even believe in them.

  @jp1692

  I meant to refer to the WTBTS as I felt about them back when we believed. Their "new light" version of God is more passable than some other versions.
