New house, not all that much bigger than where I live now, but it would be fun to be able to build exactly what I want without having to compromise on any materials/fixtures.
A handful of lifelong friends and a few family members would suddenly become rich.
As far a wasteful splurging...a bottle of 1975 or 1989 Petrus Bordeaux. Just to see what the fuss is all about.
Cant see building a vacation home or anything like that. Owning too much stuff is kind of a ball and chain. I'd just stay in nicer places when I did go on vacation.

what would you do if you won?

I took my best friends fiancé (drop dead gorgeous) to a tropical paradise. Spent a week with her mostly scantily or not clothed. I slept with her every night. We never touched each other. We just totally enjoyed each others company and a fascinating country. Hanging out can happen well if you have respect and honor.
Perhaps its because something like this happened.....

It's a date, not a standardized test. Happens when it happens. Don't know why you'd be dating a JW, but people are odd.

What Name Does the New Testament Emphasize - Jehovah or Jesus?
by Vanderhoven7 init seems to me scripturally speaking, that jehovah's witnesses are emphasizing the wrong name.. it should be jesus, not jehovah.
who is the way, the truth and the life?
(john 14:6).

Jesus came to glorify Jehovah name. For some reason people don't like His name.
Why would such trivialities be of the slightest concern to an omnipotent, omniscient, immortal, Universe creator?

Yes. Kiss, Grind, Handjobs....anything short of intercourse is pretty standard practice when JW's are dating. Especially if they reach the point of being engaged. Just keep it between the two of you...

Who really is the faithful and discreet slave?
by Fisherman in“who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time?” — math 24:45. according to jw, the faithful and discreet slave are the “anointed” men of the “governing body” of the jehovah’s witnesses religion..

Who is Tom Bombadil, the magical man that saves Frodo and friends. from the Barrow-Wights in Lord of the Rings? There are a lot of theories behind who he is, but the truth of his identity and place in Middle-Earth are just never revealed. Gandalf hints that he may be the oldest creature alive in Middle-Earth,but we can only speculate.
How did Elrond and the elves know that Aragorn and the hobbits were coming? They didn’t send a messenger ahead of them to warn anyone. If Gandalf had come back by that time, he would have tried to help them himself. Elrond didn’t have a phone around and there was no sign that he could sense them coming. So how did Arwen know to come, exactly? -

too many leave the WTS and think they have to live some "opposite life" to prove they are really out.
Who are all these people you have in mind? I've known a fair share of EX JW's on a personal level. If they got out while still young as I did, they may have had some casual hookups/ partied a bit in their 20's. But then settled down to a normal life of marriage, kids, and mortgage. Off the top of my head I can think of 8 people who are around my age, that I knew personally while a JW who also got out around age 19-20. Only 1 of those acquaintances life turned into a trainwreck of bad choices.

I have no problem with people having pre-marital sex for instance, or being gay, but I think having many casual sexual partners is more likely to be unhealthy both physically and mentally. I have no problem with people smoking pot or taking other drugs, but I think it should be limited / controlled (esp. when young) and most stronger drugs discouraged and warned about.
Being honest, having a good work ethic, being faithful to my wife - these are all "values" I have. I happen to think I have them because I try to be a good person, and I like to do the right thing. If you make things like this "leftover WTS beliefs" then you are effectively saying that you cannot be a good person without them, and that they have a monopoly on being decent. I think that is a rather messed up and imbalanced outlook to have. But like I've already said, too many leave the WTS and think they have to live some "opposite life" to prove they are really out. I think it's mental and self-damaging, the best revenge is to show that you are a better person without them.
Perfectly reasonable. Thanks for the clarification.
But that isn't what I said, is it? I note your use of a word I didn't use and you even emphasized it, to suggest I said something I didn't.
No you didn't. My intent was to convey the vibe I got from some of your comments. I wrote it poorly.

Kneel before me, for I am an ... Activist!
by Simon ini thought it was just me that had a negative view of people who proclaim themselves to be activists.. but no, it seems i'm not alone!.

Even worse than 'activist' is people whose profession is described as 'influencer'. God Almighty. For 15 seconds after reading the term, I just want them to choke on whatever they eat next.

You seem determined to misunderstand what I say or add some unnecessary spin to it as though I've said something I haven't.
No, im not trying to. Just trying to get where you're coming from. You come across as a bit of a fuddy duddy. My impression is that you couldn't ignore the fact that the JW's are wrong doctrinally so you left, but you still basically agree with the Victorian values and Puritan methods of enforcement. The whole, most people who are ex JW's were rightfully kicked out due to their dirty sins and only looked into the false doctrine aspect afterwards. (BTW, this has nothing to do with the Lloyd thing. I'm in agreement that cheating on your wife with prostitutes is the definition of slime)
Im not trying to pick a fight. Just describing how you come across to me. If i've completely misread you, then I apologize.
