and how about movies, besides documentaries is there anything at all, any movie at all, any new actor at all that that has any real worth to watch and enjoy or is it all a boring waste of time.

I can't because I dont know what your tastes are. One thing I do dislike about the current music scene is that it has returned to being singles dominated. I liked the LP format of putting something on and listening to the entire 60 minutes from start to finish. When done well it created a mood and you thought "well of course that song should logically follow this song. How else could it be?" Bands still do it but it's more of an afterthought. Why bother obsessing about track order when the tracks are just gonna be streamed randomly on Spotify or whatever.

Have I sold myself out? I probably have. Or am i playing the game to win, with regards to caring for my dad.

Only you can decide that. However if your elderly father requires a caregiver and you're it, self preservation would probably prevent him from shunning you. Thats how it seems to me.

If you decided to leave the WT and be open about it, it doesn't mean you have to harangue your father to see the light in his final years. Perhaps you could find a balance. "I dont agree with the religion but we wont discuss it unless you ask."

if they continue with the rule that only fully vaxed can go back to the hall then i could have stayed on zoom.

but the term fully vaxed is a moving target, if it’s been like six months since your last shot you are just the same as those of us who are unvaxed .

Pop music these days seems like crap. Just the same chords, autotuned, formulaic, no variety or talent needed. If you were to require all current "artists" to produce their next album with the following stipulations: 1) no synthetic drum beats, especially that fucking ticking high hat sound, 2) no autotune, sing your own song, 3) write your own song, 4) and you must actually play an instrument.

Aside from autotune, this statement would apply to any decade since the dawn of recorded music. Same for movies and television. In hindsight we remember the good stuff and forget that 90% was always crap.

Some of us never had covid (unjabbed) = natural immunity.

There are millions of people who lived before there was a polio or smallpox vaccine. They lived! Therefore those vaccines were useless.

There are thousands and thousands of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans. They are still alive! Therefore Kevlar is just a money making scam on the american taxpayer!

I am in the same camp as you. I have a personal friend a ER Doc [raised a JW], he took the shots had a heart attack.

I got 2 shots and the booster. Couple months later I sprained my wrist. That hadn't happened before.
I had a relative who took the shots and a little over a year later died of some sort of 'blockage'. She was only 92!
This past spring, my stepfather had a minor operation to remove a hemorrhoid. Almost 1 year after getting the vaccine! I purchased the sunday newspaper last week to get the weekly coupons and they have an entire column listing the recently deceased! People in their 20's,30's, 40's 60's 90's. Nearly an entire column of the recently dead in my city!

Damn You Vaccine!
