Seems like a spam bot. Did he actually accept her request, ie is she a friend or just a follower?

Wow, Taylor's pinned tweet at the moment is some of the worst homophobia I've seen outside religious groups. Some male (or AMAB if Taylor prefers) "on my way to get some lesbians" wants respect for "the LGBTQ community"? Nah mate, start by respecting lesbians' homosexuality and then we can talk.
edit: sorry to derail again, back to Lloyd. He's apparently sharing comments from children on his channel, which is worrying in itself. At least it's anonymous.

I do kind of feel bad for the guy, "cult hopping" is a very common phenomenon. It's easy to go from making everyone call you "brother" to making everyone call you "she/her/they" based on a belief system, and from "putting on the new personality" to "identifying as your 'authentic self' in the wrong body". It could be a stepping stone out of WT, but it's got its own problems. Steven Hassan is a bit of a melt but his BITE model is still a decent checklist, and this poor guy's falling into a lot of the same ones, from JWs to gender theory.

It's a pity the LGB and the more rational Ts get lumped in with all this "identity" and "queer" stuff. Homosexuals don't need anyone to believe in any kind of ideology or care how others perceive them, they just want to be left in peace to live like everyone else, just with a partner of the same sex. The queer theory stuff really is cultish, it came out of postmodernism which taught that if you change the language around and perception of things, then it somehow changes reality. At best it's a derogatory word for gay men, at worst it's a very creepy ideology.
These days I think most of us LGBs don't feel the corporatised woke bullshit speaks for us, often it's outright homophobic in itself. I suppose I just wanted to say I wish it didn't reflect on the whole community, such as it is.

The difference between rape and prostitution, especially when there is a very real difference in power between the individuals involved, is the question that one needs to ask when a First World tourist is hiring sex workers in a Third World country. It may look like a mutually consensual arrangement, but is it? I think the answer to that questions bears directly on one's qualification to represent themselves as an advocate for victims of sexual abuse.
I'd say that's an issue even in rich countries, even in the "best" circumstances with a "happy hooker". It's still sex with someone who doesn't want to, and would not consent if it weren't for the money. The money itself is a form of coercion.
If it's a choice between paying the rent/mortgage/electricity bill and refusing sex, is that really a choice at all?
Kim Silvio mentioned trafficking and coercion even in a rich country like Australia on the Magnificent Seven stream, and she's spot on. We have the same problems in the UK too, with domestic abusers pimping their victims and foreign women and children trafficked into it.
I'm not exactly prudish - if it's genuinely freely consenting, non-violent sex between adult humans and in private, do whatever weird stuff you like, I say. That's an extremely low bar and very permissive, but punting doesn't even clear that.

It amazes me how that sort of neoliberalism is considered "left". That sub-Reddit needs to read some Marx, Lenin, Kollontai, Zetkin etc, or basically any communist. Not one of them ever supported prostitution, and they especially didn't support the men that abuse it. It's postmodern identity politics where they're more concerned about what language they use to describe an atrocity than the material conditions itself. Lloyd is a rich white anglo man who went to a poor country to sexually molest the native people through bribing them to endure it. How anyone can support that and call themselves "left", I do not know.
I've said before that it's more in line with fascism, trafficking minority ethnic women and children for prostitution was an official policy of Germany and Japan. These "leftists" should look at the company they keep and let us actual MLs get on with things.

I've seen survivors use terms like "prostituted (woman/man/girl/boy)" or "prostitution survivor/victim". Nordic Model Now has a lot of good resources and interviews with survivors of the industry.

I think he's just parroting phrases used in discussions of ethics and morality and thinking it'll win him the argument. For example, in discussions of gay rights you often see "consenting adults" to describe relationships that are acceptable and exclude ones that aren't.
The difference is that's a good argument when it's about ordinary gay and lesbian couples with no power imbalance between them. It's not a good argument when it's about a punter and his victim.

Omg that's gold! Adding it to my playlist, it unironically bangs :D reminds me of one of Frank Klepacki's.
I did wonder if samples of his livestream would make a good track, maybe "mister kind of saintly Brandon" over a jungle beat, or "WHOT?!" as a sample.
