  Are JWs the most gossiping people on earth?

  we all gossip.

  it is only human.

  watchtower actually tries to instruct adherents not to gossip and it can land a jw in front of a judicial committee—some do try to follow this admonition.

  i've taken the bible lessons but have never attended a kingdom hall.

  i was curious as to what point they begin to tighten the screws of control?

  let's say you're a baptist.

  if in any way your journey is with another person eg wife ,children the mental dangers you will be exposing them to IS unacceptable . We are talking the smoothest sales pitch, honed over a hundred years . They ,WT have seduced some of the most cynical minds . By attending the KH you are waisting some of your valuable life . We all here have told you the stove is hot and we will be here to apply the bandage ,but we prefer our friends don't get burnt in the first place.

  How successful are others at getting ex-dubs together?

  for my first shunniversary i reached out to the local ex-dubs that i know.

  i invited 11 total to join me in a little get together at a local restaurant, then back to my house to hang out.

  one friend asked if he could invite others, and i encouraged him, and all, to do so.

  I'm playing devils advocate here but some might live with believers still, and they are torn. I'm struggling with a wife who suspicious of Worldy people and JWs don't come near our house because I'm the devil. When I sort things out here, due to religious and marital conflict , all my fellow bloggers here will be welcome for an " apostate" gathering.

  which i truly do respect because my girlfriend is part of but i just don't understand, i have researched so much about it.

  so much about how its discouraged for her to be with me just cause of different religion.

  Your girl friend has been and is CULT affected , to no fault of her own. We as human never get to see all aspects of our fellow man . Your poor girlfriend no matter how nice and good she is , is wired different than all other girls due to indoctrination from a very manipulative organisation. Unless she is willing to forsake her family and religion and NEVER turn back , then your in for a tumultuous life.This is religious mafia, you can only leave in a box. If you think it's complicated now imagine having kids ,NO birthdays,no Christmas ,no tooth fairy, no valentine ,no Easter . I know you might think there is love ,but the hate that religion has for outsiders is greater than any love you have for her.

  fading/holidays

  so for those that are fading, i have been fading for almost 6 months now.

  havent been to a meeting, assembly, service, etc.

  i no longer believe it is the truth.. how long did you wait before celebrating holidays, if in fact you are even celebrating them.

  When the epiphany happened and I no longer believed ,next week to the horror of my wife I celebrated birthdays. I tried to reason with her about the angels celebrating jesus's birth or that in biblical history they kept count of their ages. Life is to short, start celebrating what you feel comfortable with. We can start with little things ( if you have little ones it could be the tooth fairy).

  Anthony Morris III Autobiography ... The Real Truth

  the watchtower published anthony morris iii's autobiography last year ... "remembering my first love has helped me to endure" by anthony morris iii.

  i absolutely cannot believe how quickly he became a jehovah's witness.

  in the span of less than a year, he attended his first meeting, studied, got baptized, became a pioneer, and married a jw girl.

  If I wrote my own autobiography could I get a religion to promote it. My autobiography would read crazier than theirs, except I don't hear voices in my head like they do. I can guarantee that mine is John the Baptist crazy . My mother said she wants to write a book about her three sons, the title "The priest,The prophet, The poof." My brother is catholic priest, I'm the prophet ( xjw ). Other brother is gay. I wonder if JW.org is interested in play rights.

  The governing body of the sixties would think apostasy has crept into head office based on all of them claiming anointed status after 1935. Being directed by Holy Spirit is their divine appointment just like JC ,except there is no appeal committee ,to ask God if he chose Big Tony Morris on what merits.
