I talked to God when I was a JW and after I left I talked to God. Well I hope and thought I was talking to him ,but there's a good chance I was talking to myself. He says he's hearer of prayer, I'd like to believe that BUT I've had no miracles, no voices, the only thing that come close to interaction with God is that these guys in suits from a place they call Kingdom Halls said they are Gods appointed judges. If these guys are a reflection of God then I say no thanks.

It's easier to work out who aren't God people. Does the religion baptise children with no chance of them exploring other religions without sanctions. Do ones who get expelled for believing something different get reinstated when head office changes belief to what one expelled believed.

We are just damaged sheep, we all have been half slaughtered emotionally from the cult. If I think I can speak for most even though I haven't been here long , is that people as a rule do what they want. It's just some people take longer to break free from different control factors. All victims of a war zone have some emotional damage .Ours was a religious war ( we all remember the pictures in the old revelation book ). In conclusion we are all united in our unique religious torment from a slick book publishing company turned realestate mogel.

What is the purpose of life?
by slimboyfat inwhile reading the magazines the other day it occurred to me that jws never really had a very good answer to that question.
because it was aimed at young people and it said something along the lines, "if you believe in god you have a purpose, but if you don't believe in god your life has no purpose or meaning".
i think that is a faulty analysis of the situation.

With a billion bucks they could buy a decent remote island invite the whole brotherhood there, with free labour they could build housing and every other comfort that communities need, buy uniforms with badges for the elders, introduce there Judical system and save the world of heart ache and of being woken Saturday mornings .DFing can be a public execution, similar to ISIS , there's plenty of bible zealot execution examples for this loving brotherhood.

When you were fully in, would you lie about how loving your congregation was?

he was hospitalized for a few weeks and his jw wife and children were at his side often.
also, his non jw family was also bedside with him, siblings and parents.. his recollection involves asking us "don't you remember all the jws that came visiting me when i was sick?".

The whole problem with the " is the cong loving" is , that their version of love never extends to the general population. If you only have friends in one social group , of course that is the only place you may experience love. Real love exists outside of the org. The good man was right when he said more happiness in giving.
