It's a bad thing when you have to choose between church and family, this role of cutting off families comes from different directions in JWs , because when people come in they cut off wordly family due to celebrations. Then there's Disfellowshipping which what can I say has emotional crushing abilities . The church has secured a stranglehold on the family arrangement. But one must rise above emotional blackmail and live true to oneself. And by the way Pale I think you will die at Armageddon because you truthfully relayed the 1975 convention recordings. History has a good track record of those speaking truth getting killed.

If Jesus had to choose his earthly organisation NOW, who would win?
by stuckinarut2 inwe all know that the society claims that jesus invisibly chose the bible students (forerunners of jw) in 1919 to be his organization here on earth.. yet, as we know, so much of what they then taught and did was wrong according to current teaching and practice.. the reply witnesses will give is something like "they were the most sincere seekers of truth blah blah...and jesus could see their potential".
so, pretend for a moment that the current organization and the 1919 organization were both in concurrent existence at the time he invisibly came to choose.... which would he choose?

As said previously its George Orwell 1984 ,WT rewriting history. The disappointment that these one who took it seriously and sold homes and left jobs must be horrendous. The whole problem with WT it's like a broken clock which is right twice a day , the only problem is that it's stuck on the eleventh hour ,it's a doomsday clock with the GB relating the time each day.
