The judge is a hero , the girl will hopefully one day realise that this man saved her life, instead JWs will refer to her as the girl raped by the medical establishment. Also welcome ironsnake and may your apostasy zeal be blessed.

I got told or saw I can't remember, but it went along the lines of.... if a sister who was unmarried wore sexy lingerie to meet her male friend that would be a sign of guilt because no one is meant to see her knickers. The bullshit gets a mile high .

Seriously , the seven popes cannot be taken seriously . I don't think any were chosen before 1935, so Rutherford would refer to these seven as apostates. JWs are right when they say false religious leaders are headed to Gehenna, The magic seven are the welcoming committee at the firery gates. You can't falsely misrepresent the bible and literally destroy families and then say do as I do. They sleep in their ivory watchtower knowing the personal details of what disfellowshipping has done to families. They know of hundreds of injustices but reason they are collateral damage from a theocratic war. In their minds god will reverse their mistakes, in my mind God might give them a dose of his own. But then again I don't think God cares.

Do the maths and see what odds your recovery is and success rate, but no one can feel your pain and pain is a bastard. Me personally I wouldn't let no knife near my back , life has enough back stabbers. But seriously the people I've know who have undergone the knife ,it's about 50/50 on the regret side. I just don't trust anybody with a knife near my spinal cord.

My Reverse-Shunning Letter To My Mother
by pale.emperor ini mailed the below letter to my mother a few weeks ago.
i did share it on the ex-jw facebook group but thought i'd post it here.. basically, she's shunned me since day 1, has little or nothing to do with my 3yo daughter and told my sister "i hope <my daughter> becomes a jw when she's older so i can welcome her into the family".
well, that was the last straw for me..

It just breaks my heart that a religion can have rules and regulations that are truly family destroying, to hear you say goodbye to your mother is killing my emotions toward this evil religion. No human is meant to ever write such letters, O'Pale I hope this hastens your healing process and you can come to terms with being an orphan. We all on here my friend are blessed to ride this journey with you and we WILL help enrich your life. I find it so difficult to comprehend a parent shunning a child, again hang in there, also I know what you did put your mother on notice and as a son you couldn't of done anything else.

The Biblical reasoning behind a judicial comitee?
by CitizenofEarth ini was wondering today what i would say if i ever were to be called to a judicial trial in the congregation, and my conclusion was that i didn't really have any biblical defense against it.
so i was wondering what you guys would recommend.
it seems far fetched to me that the bible condones a 1 vs 3 biased trial (where you already have been judged beforehand), instead of one where you have a unbiased judge, a defense and a prosecutor/accuser.

Ask a Jw elder has he ever heard of a judicial committee that has forgiven someone on seven different occasions, if not ask him how do they follow Jesus's example of forgiving 77 times. Then ask how come the prodigal son didn't go through the reinstatement process.

After being in the so-called "Truth" makes me despise all religions.
by Fader812 inafter being a jw made me lose trust in religion, from the lies, hypocrisy and greed of this organization made me lose faith completely.
what does one do after this mind f$%@, what is there to look forward to?
do i make up my own agnostic theory in head and hope for the best?

No other religion can take the crown from JWs as the king of God destroying doctrine. Imagine a young girl child abuse victim and her trying to trust other men, its the same as xjws trusting other religions.

Why Do People Become JWs?
by minimus ini was born in the religion but why on earth do people join this religion?
?.

Chook
I think it's to do with JWs having the answer for EVERYTHING ! Its the emotional healing that people perceive when joining, it's the opposite of leaving when you realise it's emotional death that has been spoon fed , JWs loose any love for their fellow man because of the whole he is a worldly person.

My Introduction
by Ray Frankz inthis is my first post and i'm feeling like i'm doing something bad big time!
i know on my mind it isn't, but the feelings are less manageable.. well, since i'm still a jw it's better not to give too much info, but i'm from brazil.. i've grown-up in the religion and practicly all my family, my closest friends and my girlfriend are loyal jws.
i used to be a regular pioneer but i still have a service privilege on my congregation.. i've had questions about the teachings of the wt since i was 10, but naturally i always pushed it away as it were "questioning the holy organization".. i started a friendship with some people in a course i took and we talked about a lot of subjects.

Welcome Ray F, you can ask the questions here that the cong forbids. Also your friends on here don't share their loyalty with a realestate company based in Warwick.
