  Help/Advice on Birthday Present

  i have a very xjw type problem, i am invited to my cousin's 70th birthday party, and really don't know what to buy him.. i only met him a couple of months ago, as my jw parents never encouraged the non-jw side of the family, so i don't know much about him, except that he is retired and his hobby is sailing his boat.. i don't have contact details for his kids etc to ask them for ideas, so could you come up with something please ?

  not too extravagant, i am a poor pensioner !

  but, it is his 70th.. thanks in advance for any tips !.

  finkelstein, I'm moving house in the next seven days, the chook has flown the coup. But who knows with these corporate zealots . I told them they had no power over me because I don't believe they represent god and no other family are Jw. The elder looked a bit pale. There was no overlapping bullshit on my part, I leave that for the holy men of Warwick.

  a friend online asked me about my recovery and how i managed to recover relatively easily from watchtower indoctrination.

  although i think a major part of it is acquainting oneself with information about the watchtower and it's history, a lot of it (for me at least) was an inner game.

  Smiddy I got bitten by brown snake two years ago when I was Jw, if I had gotten bitten 40 years ago JWs forbid antivenin because they make from horse blood, even though a lot now are synthetic most are still horse blood. So I said to elder I would have died for the Jw cause 40 years ago if bitten then the seven clowns say now a conscience matter. Then I asked are GB inspired and then ask are the directed and guided by holyspirit, then can you please explain the difference to this mere mortal.

  These videos will haunt them forever, just how it got released is beyond me considering what they had previously said , there's a lot of cracks in the dam wall. What needs to be made is a half hour version with all the crackpot things said. But in all honesty it would take hours to cover the amount of religious shit that got dispersed.
