I hate government, I have personally seen police lie on the stand and have had a son acquitted by a jury on bullshit charges a trial that went 14 days , I can tell you some mighty bullshit exists in the legal system. Our family has no criminal convictions I don't know by luck or good judgment skills but we certainly have a " no comment "policy regarding governmental authorities. One famous statesman said " the more laws you make the more criminals you will have ." In nsw Australia its $319 fine for not wearing a helmet on a push bike.
Government is a tax extracting beast that continues to get hungrier the larger it gets. Doctors rip off government Medicare, lawyers are the kings of society where only judges are chosen from their ranks. Australian government would extract $15 per pack of cigarettes, 60 cents a litre of petrol, $25 a carton of beer. You might think that all those things you could live without , but in country this big fuel cost aren't optional. In a country this hot beer is not optional, as to a puff it's been happening for centuries.
Government has a need for greater surveillance as to raising revenue, fancy names such as excise, permit, registration, stamp duty but for the socialist government to survive it must tax and bleed the public because they control the armed forces.
All big nations collapse due to dictatorship conditions sneaking in. From a personal point of view you must evaluate safety and survival from pro active point of view, as government hand outs will continue to get harder people must be aware as to self protection.
