Do they take the GB seriously?

so this is an honest question that i have been thinking about for some time.. do regular jehovahś witnesses in other countries (other than the usa) take the governing body in new york seriously?.

i mean, i cant help but wonder about the publishers in japan, or south africa, or mexico, or new zealand, or even the uk, or spain, or italy...... or russia?.

not you and i (we know what you think of them), but the regular jwś...... do they take these american buffoons seriously?

I'm blown away by how young some are baptised, they probably couldn't spell Armageddon at that age yet could enter a life long contract to wt corp.

In the last 20 years How Many Changes Have Occurred in Watchtower Beliefs?

jehovah's witnesses say that they have the truth and the truth is constant.

they believe that what they teach is the truth that comes directly from jehovah god.

can you think of anything that has changed in the last 20 years to show a jehovah's witness that the truth is not necessarily the truth..

The 96 is bullshit , their beliefs have literally hundreds of Jw written and unwritten rules, even if it's not doctrine it still affects the average Jw with ordinance on every thing from clothing to hair styles.

guy a and guy b were in bondage for a long time.

during this period, they have endured a lot of suffering and hardship.. somehow, they managed to escape from their captors.. guy a was very happy that he regained his freedom.

he put everything behind him, work hard and succeeded in building up a career.. 10 years later, he met guy b. he asked guy b what he has been doing for the past 10 years.. guy b replied :" i can't forget how we suffered while in bondage.

Guy B has empathy and is compelled to help those held captive , some survive a earthquake and flee to the mountains, others stay behind with risk to themselves to save others. If I'm creating an army of brave hearts I'll take guy B , he is willing to risk his comfort to save his fellow friends.

Had to say something to a couple of cart women in Bentonville square.

my wife and i were walking up to the original walmart store in bentonville.

its now a museum.

two women were sitting in the park next to a cart.

I was on holidays last week and ran into a cart at a market , I ask will god hold religious leaders responsible who go beyond what written and it cost someone their life ? Of course they answer yes , then I relay how wt gb use to forbid blood fractions and some people died, then later made it a conscience matter. I ask who is responsible for their deaths. I relay that it was a man made command that had nothing to do with God.

Was there really a specific request for money in this week's meeting?

i have seen a few comments about this week's meeting.. was there actually a part that specified an actual per-publisher amount that should be donated regularly?.

can this be confirmed please?.

i truly cant believe just how brazen the society seems to be getting - and how desperate they are!.

If You Question The Governing Body, You're Like Korah

in not so subtle hint, the gb likens themselves to moses, and those who disagree with the gb are korah.. paragraph 15 is actually quite damaging to the gb's argument though:.

it was so unnecessary for all those people to lose their lives.
