  Appealing a DF decision

  i always found it interesting that one could appeal a disfellowshipping....if jehovah doesn't make mistakes, then there wouldnt be a need to "appeal" anything to begin with right?.

  Any court that allows an appeal yet won't allow a recording is called a kangaroo court. If Ray Franz and his well written appeal failed what hope has a teenager got.

  Final Rejection

  i have just returned from visiting friends and family.

  when i was disassociated my parents had contact with me a few months before my dad was diagnosed with cancer.

  i was reinstated 20 months after his funeral and then they disfellowshipped me 5 months later as they are convinced i had not changed my life enough to be a jw again.

  Sad sad stories, I'm so lucky I was never born in this family destroying cult. All you have in the end is your mind, protect your mind from this poison. If people can't think for themselves there is nothing you can do to help. I just can't fathom parent child relationships destroyed by a group of men in Brooklyn

  A religion or OCPD?

  i came across this paragraph about the causes of ocpd and it occurred to me that jws as a religion do reward ocpd traits.

  they insist you adhere to rules and behaviours to the impairment of social and family activities.

  perfectionism, strict moral code, lack of generosity.. so does this religion cause this personality disorder or does it recruit people who suffer from it?.

  a vampire is taken to the emergency room on a stretcher.

  the doctors notice what he is so instead of giving him an iv they show him a cross to subdue him, so he says to them: " i am jw and i don't believe in the cross," so the doctors say to him: "you haven't eaten in a very long time, we need to pump 5 gallons of whole blood into you.

  Who has the authority to decern what the bible really teaches?

  so i ask because of all the books, mags and testimonies that the wts promotes.

  not only the wts, but many other christians attempt to speak about the bible with authority.

  how do we measure who is an authority if we don't know that much?.

  The liability of elders actions will fall squarely on themselves as head office washes their hands. Head offices advice is always about their own protection, just like the bullshit when they say every baptised member is a minister, literally dozens of times in court they have tried to distance themselves from even MS actions. Litigation will bury the WT, I know because look at the quality of their representation at ARC. In courts it all boils down to the quality of lawyers, ask OJ Simpson.

  in their sick and twisted bubble that they live in, the jehovahs witnesses clearly have no idea about the logistical nightmare of disposing of 7.5 billion corpses.. when i heard an elder once say that it will be a joy to clear away the wicked from the earth, he actually had a smile on his face.. can they even begin to imagine what 7.5 billion dead men, women, children & babies looks like?.

  If a JW Came To Your Door How Would You Handle It?

  jehovah's witnesses have never come to my door but they have come to my girlfriends door.

  i have coached her as to what to say or ask but it appears that they always seem to come when she's not there.

  .....just curious would you get into it with a jehovah's witness at your door especially if it was someone you did not know?.

  If they come to my door and they didn't no I was an xjw I would give them a hypothetical about a childhood friend who joined jws and that I have contact with his adult child who was baptised at 12 years of age. And I would relate that the father no longer talks to the child because the child joined another Christian church, I would ask the Jws could this really be true that shunning a child for going to different church.i would let the bastards qiirm and wriggle and then tell them it's evil.
