  "Prayer" and answers to it , positive / negative ,or is it all in the mind ?

  speaking from my own experience and that of my family of wife and two now adult sons do not believe that prayers to jehovah /god are answered .. so it must also be true of all other religions and their believers also.. my wife and i were jw`s for 33 years and and i don`t believe anyone prayed harder than my wife and i at various trials we faced during those times in those 33 years.. we may as well have been like the present day jews who pray to a brick wall .

  Prayer is like pouring your concerns on a friend, it makes you feel better but doesn't necessarily solve anything. That's why religions exploit the confessional arrangement and the guilty sheep feel better after confessing to whatever deviation of church creed. Pray to Jehovah to never send one of his people to your door and see if he is the answers your prayer, it's a reasonable request to ask father not to send his prophets to an apostate. But Jws would say he's not listening to your prayers . Has god answered any of the payers regarding the coming of his kingdom.

  i find it pretty shocking how corporate the jw religion is.

  i never saw it this way when i was in but now that i look at it from a different perspective, it seems quite clear.

  much of the terminology used by jws is corporate inspired.

  Yes they probably hold the title for the most corporations so as to protect their wealth, I bet they look at the Vatican with envy having sovereign status. No diplomatic immunity for the magic 7. GB wet dream would be to control the judiciary courts of a sovereign nation. I'm surprised they haven't try to purchase an island from a broke nation, I'm sure they would of discussed how to prevent themselves from bankruptcy. An offshore bank account sounds good but to establish wt org on their own offshore island would give big Tony an erection.

  Faces on TV Broadcasting

  i agree that being photogenic is not given to every ordinary mortal.

  .

  but when at the beginning of every new month i am confronted with the various faces of those males showing off as a priority on tv-jw (see jw broadcating september 2017), i am asking myself if i honestly am faced with normal people, or with people who went mental already since ages ago.. is it maybe due to the fact that the majority of them already do not feel anymore like belonging to ordinary mortals ?

  in the past, i have known many brothers that had trekked down to the southern us to perform relief work on behalf of the wtbt$.

  they return as heros.

  they shared the repairing and rebuilding of kh and the property of fellow believers.

  some events in the bible can be questionable but there are some stories the rings of truth, and why do i say that because they are so descriptive.

  judges 3:22 "ehud an israelite judge, goes to the king of the moabites to pay annual tribute.

  instead, he pulls out a dagger and stabs the sh--t out of the king while he is bathing, he literal caused the sh--t to flow and the dagger disappeared in the folds of the king's skin.

  If the bible was written today it would be regarded as blasphemy, No court of law would swear on it. Swearing on the bible gives a lot of latitude for lying. The bible is predominantly a book of war and ends with Armageddon the great war, then we will have one more at the end of a thousand years for good measure. All generations love a good verse evil fairytale.

  for good reason.

  fool me once....i’m an activist and an author of a book or two exposing and vilifying the destructive jw cult organization.yet i agreed.

  Terry the best movies have have large content, I don't know if he'll come back , but if he does I think you will have him being bombarded by elders who can't also answer that question and following questions. His faith in wt corp will diminish at an alarming rate. Terry may your efforts prosper.

  What Type of Elder Body Did You Have?

  i was an elder in two different congregations and both were conservative and strict, especially congregation number one.

  it was headed by a former branch servant as they were called back then.

  all elders were by the book.

  I've been in congs with serious deluded elders I will give a list of endearing qualities verse psycho traits.

  Ian total fruit loop had a physical scuffle with a ms at hall, he asked everyone to take out song book during meeting and said can you open front cover and tell me who has my song book. He pioneered for 30 years so got away with his radical behaviour until he put his dick in a brothers wife. His job was musician. Endearing qualities is he is made in gods image.

  Tony was a Dutch thug who beat his wife and beat the publishers , he set up an open judicial committee which he announced from platform. Just put the words German Dutch Italian in search bar, second article will give insight to the craziest meeting I've ever attended .Dutchy was a carpenter. Endearing quality in hindsight is I never seen him preaching.

  Ben was a total nut job, he was late 40s when I met him, he moved house every few years which hindered his eldership endevours and was totally dedicated to the cult. The was a ms who could never make the grade of elder because as soon as he spoke you knew there was big mental issues, common sense prevailed as to appointing him until he moved into my cong. His wife took emblems , of his two good looking boys one was on a bipolar pension. Window cleaning Ben done a deal with one of our elders Grant if he moved to our small isolated cong Grant would make him elder. I was so fortunate that they made him an elder and he left cong within two weeks of his appointment. God has sent that total fruitloop to damage some unfortunate cong . Whenever he did a talk or commented during meetings he had to always mention his dead dads life story I mean every single time he commented. Damaged goods is now on a mission to fix people now who are far more saner than he is.

  Graham was a PO in a cong that went from 100 publishers to 8 in a eight year period. Because most brothers rented in this area and Graham owned his modest house, he ended up ruling this place with no outside protection for the flock. Most dry cold hearted people I've ever met , hospitality was non existent. This was a cold area of Australia which needed heaps of heating. I measured temp at meeting one day it started at 8 degrees C and at end of meeting 15 degrees C. I approach this dickhead and ask about the heating problem, oldies were shivering and bringing blankets . Graham says the society is worried about the greenhouse affect so we can contribute by freezing. I say do you need more money for heating to which he responded it's not a money issue. I say that you coming in a car to meetings harms the greenhouse, but how can you reason with a bloke who single handidly destroyed a cong.

  Im sick of writing today but I could have given a summary on dozens of Jw priests , but I'm preaching to the converted here by relaying all the stories that these elders have done to the innocent.

  Strangers at my door

  you won't believe this...i was sitting here a few minutes ago at the dining table in the house where i rent to live.. i'm on my laptop trying to eat oatmeal when i hear the front doorknob rattling.

  obviously, my roommate is fumbling with the lock.. i hear the door as it opens.

  then, strange voices!

  You can't be expected to save all the drowning JWs , but one soul at a time is a noble cause . I find your future encounters as entertaining as any good movie. Thanks for allowing us to walk this journey with you. Episode 1 after that nice trailer has my attention .
