Yesterday I went to a shopping center. I saw a dub who was once a very friendly person. He was about 10 metres from me when I noticed him. He was nervously looking away then got his mobile phone out and pretended to talk on it. As I passed him he held his head down and did not make eye contact with me. I was quietly confident as all this happened. A few moments later, I thought, WTF.
Has anyone here got any wierd shunning stories where dubs have shunned in a cowardly way?

US violent crimes and murders rose in 2016, the FBI says
by Simon ini can't remember the exact topic but i think a few people predicted the same thing - that the blm movement would cause an increase in violent deaths of young black men, ultimately doing more harm than good.. and so it has: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-41391333.
an 8.6% rise in the homicide rate is pretty appalling by any standard unless it started at very low levels, which we know it didn't.. this is why i object to movements based on false premises and invented media lies / selective coverage.
the people who suffer the most are not the ones marching in the streets.

For a start, to reduce the number of violent crimes, get rid of the 2nd amendment. People say that it is written in the constitution. So it can't be changed. It's an amendment. Just amend it. Get rid of all military style firearms and pistols.
In Australia, after the Port Arthur massacre, the then government did just such. We were starting to have a lot of siege type events that involved military style weapons.
Get rid of the elephant in the room.

@smiddy3. I am just as mystified as you. I didn't understand it back then but now I do not believe in the bible anymore, so it does not matter to me.
At the moment, I am pretty well agnostic/atheist.

Blasphemy against the holy spirit. I remember a watchtower article of about 10 years ago titled on this subject. And everyone at the meeting was deeply into this watchtower. They all seemed to have a guilty conscience.

Kangaroo meat. Taste is to gamey. Strong. Will not try it again. Have heard some people using techniques to remove this gamey taste. Very lean.
