  The author of the book responds to the above question.

  At this point we can only guess, but there are several factors possibly at play:

  1) JW are an official church in Germany now and they may be flexing their muscles. Also, they announced to go after negative coverage last year and they're probably trying it out now.

  2) The European Union is investigating JW's use of personal data in field service and in general. There were headlines about that the other day. My book touches on this subject a lot, so there may be a connection.

  But at this point we can only guess. The book has five pages and they are only going against 7 passages for now, and mainly have issues with the phrasing of the passages (less the underlying facts). So they may think they have a chance at intimidating us, but no way jose.

  @Diogenesister. Most likely the greatly reduced number of witnesses and the dissolution of 252 congregations in Germany since 2013. Trying to suppress knowledge so as to stop further reduction.

  There are 2 things guaranteed to start a bar room brawl. Religion and politics. We can all agree that religion is what got us here and that Watchtower is toxic. As regards politics, I don't know why people continue to start posts that in no way can be settled. It's like if I came around to your house and tried to shove religion down your throat. You wouldn't like it and would either go on the defense or tell me to piss off. Has anyone here been converted to another person's political ideology because of something posted here? I believe not.

  Point after point is pounded back and forth. To me this is the definition of futility.

  Watchtower always lie to the public in response to any allegations. They call it theocratic warfare. Not any thought is given to the fact that a lie is a lie and the bible clearly states that lieing is a sin. And also to give Ceaser's things to Ceaser in regards to telling the truth to authority.

  Out of context. How? I saw the whole thing. I saw the context.

  Watchtower always deny when something controversial becomes public. Even when child sex abuse allegations are brought to light, they say that they abhor child sex abuse and always report it to the authorities.

  Snake In My Fridge

  i just now went to get meat from my fridge to cook, took the meat out & shut the door as i shut the door i thought i saw a piece of rope in the six pack i had just opened & had removed 2 cans, already drunk 1.. open the door again & there i saw what i thought was a piece of rope, but i look a bit closer ...... shit it's a friggin snake, bugger i had only just taken two cans out wtf.. .
