It’s too bad the CSA survivors can’t launch some kind of “class action gag order” against Evans pretending to represent them. If they were officially embodied into a “class”, maybe it could be done.

There is probably a book somewhere, or at least an article, that gives a list of how to avoid answering a question which, if answered fully and truthfully, would expose a vulnerability in the person who is being questioned. A “conversation worth having”. Lol. A “conversation worth having” with whom? With his barber? With the lawyer who is mounting a legal defense for him? Or, did he mean, “... “a conversation worth having”, for Andrew Gold to have with someone else, ...with ANYONE ELSE other than with him, Lloyd Evans?
He should “trademark” that expression and rent it out to politicians.

Wikipedia, False Statements of Fact, under Remedies, says:
"Punitive damages are sometimes available against an individual who made a public false statement of fact. Criminal liability, although uncommon, can be made although they are usually subject to the same limitations imposed on civil suits in terms of elements to be proven."
This sounds very close to a "false factual claim". If a "false statement of fact" is synonymous with a "false factual claim", then both terms describe a false statement which wrongly purports to be a fact. To simply say a "false claim" could, in some contexts be referring, for example, to a false claim over a piece of property. In other words, what is under discussiion is a "factual" claim, as opposed to a claim on a piece of land, etc..

slimboyfat said,
"He will never understand how he has harmed people. He will never be convinced that other people matter as much as his own sense that he himself should be treated ‘fairly’. He will never stop unless circumstances make it impossible for him to continue."
After I read that, my mind went into overdrive thinking, ...so what would it take for Evans to get what he claims he needs? If Dijana divorces him, then will he marry the sex worker who best has fulfilled all his needs and be faithful to her?

NCC, from Simon’s post, repeating JLE, found on forum page 342...
“Since it was impractical and too costly to include all 12 individuals who received warning letters (the translation costs alone are eye-watering), seven of the most egregious cases were selected and the remainder (including any that have yet to receive a letter) may be included in future civil action (for which the statute of limitations is three years) depending on the success of the criminal lawsuit and the damages paid out. Of course, those sued criminally can be further sued civilly.”

Chinapomo, also like a jw committee meeting, Lloyd’s decision is made before calling the committee meeting. Like a jw committee meeting, Lloyd would like for there to just be a verdict with no trial. This is such fun for me now,... making fun of judicial committee meetings with other people who know how crooked those meetings were. I used to fervently pray before any kind of meeting with elders. And they were like goofy seventh-grade boys who could barely keep from making puns and bursting out laughing. How did we survive? My dog had more sense and decorum. (I still pray, but to God without the Watchtower filter.)

I keep a copy-and-paste or else a screenshot of almost everything I post online. Things sometimes won’t “post”, as when they contain a link. Or, things get deleted,... either intentionally by a moderator, or else due to a spam filter that mis-read the spelling of some word. Once I’ve composed a good paragraph, I don’t like to loose it,... and my memory isn’t good enough to reconstruct it. So, yes, I keep a record, and I can try again later, somewhere else, or as a private message. It’s too bad some good info was apparently lost on reddit.

Newly Enlightened, was it by email or by phone that you contacted the court clerk in Croatia?
”So I contacted the court clerk on Monday and have heard nothing back. How is this fair to us 'Plaintiff's"????”
If you don’t mind answering, how were you able to identify your case to the court clerk? Also, if you don’t mind answering, how were you able to convince the court clerk that you are Plaintiffs?
(Please don’t give me any information that might worsen or jeopardize your case. I’m just trying to understand how things work in Croatian courts, and what else you might attempt.)
