Evans' shenanagans take me mentally to an "other universe" paradigm. It's as though he has created a belief system and has now proselytized converts,... patreons and non-contributing proletariats, A loving, faithful wife tends to "forgive" to a point beyond ridiculous. A kind pat on her back, a sweet smile and a nod from her husband... and she's back in "hope for the best" mode,... even willing to subscribe to his bizarre paradigm if that will just get him to love her. Evans' contrived reality reminds me of the book "1984". See brief analysis below.

I'm not on twitter, Kim, so I missed seeing it. But, my condolences on your feathers having been unjustly ruffeled. It always takes me at least a day to get over it when that happens to me. Plus, it helps to get over it when I can tell it to a good friend who completely sees my point. :)

I, too, have had the frustrating experience of wording a comment on something that's "just plain wrong" in an exceptionally gracious manner, and then having my "graciousness" weaponized against me. (I am not referring to anything on this thread,... just in case I might be misunderstood.)

Thanks so much, diogenesister. Just before you gave me this, it dawned on me that he is the ex patron of Evans whose video I'd watched. I'd even commented on his video and he gave me the little "like" emoji. So, I searched back through my screenshots and found the name of his video, found the video, copied the link,.. and got back here ...to read your post. Lol.
I've recently contacted Watchtower History, too. Yes. Thanks.
But I can't find a way to contact Truth Seeker Atheist other than on the comment section of his youtube channel. I can't put my email online for the public. And I don't have a go-between.

Would he be the Bible Student historian that Diogenesister mentioned a few pages back?

I just hope to see Watchtower collapse soon. People have needed help leaving. They had no support system and almost no friends or even acquaintances to whom to turn. Ten years ago, few psychologists had any clue about what was inside the mind of an awakening JW. The extent of the indoctrination is almost impossible for those who have never been a “subject” of the Organization to comprehend. There are some books on the subject now, and there are online support groups that recognize the cult mentality of Watchtower. Lloyd’s channel looked like an oasis in the desert when I first woke up three years ago,... but I’m glad I kept looking around and didn’t let him be my guide. Sooo glad I didn’t do that.
