smiddy3, whenever, through the years, a famous evangelical preacher would be exposed as corrupt and immoral, there would be a bit of a reaction from his parishioners. Then would come the repentence, the tears, and the forgiveness from the wife and his congregation. But in Evans' case, there was the exposure of his corription and immorality, and then.... WWHAAT?. No repentence at all. This thread began because of Evans' audacity. I found this thread when it was somewhere around page 200. I felt a kinship with the people on this forum who saw something rotten and were calling "foul". Granted, the individuals here approach the issue from various perspectives. But we know that what Evans' has done is morally unacceptable. Do you, smiddy3, believe that what Evans has done is morally unacceptable?

Spanish takes about 600 hours to learn versus Croatian at 1,100. Croatian has seven cases while English only has three.
After 13 years in South America, I’d learned Spanish and also had a good start on sign language.
Later, back in the US, I attended a Croatian JW group,... but the “ministerial servant” at that KH told me I would have to obtain any Watchtower through “my own” congregation. The “ministerial servant” didn’t seem to be mean-spirited. I think the “elders” had made that ruling, and enforcing it landed on him. A “worldly person” could have walked in a gotten a Croatian Watchtower, but they wouldn’t let me have one at the literature counter. I‘ve digressed. Yes, with having a Croatian wife and living in Croatia, you’d think that Evans could have learned Croatian in 13 years.

At the time that Evans began making YouTube videos about Jehovah's Witnesses, there weren't many in that nitch. Do I have that right? I only woke up a little less than four years ago, so I wasn't watching anything exjw ten years ago. And, ten years ago, there weren't many books about waking up from Watchtower, right? So Evans' made videos and wrote a book at just the right time in history so that he "grabbed the wave", and then he rode it, and rode it. But waves, no matter how exhilarating, eventually carry you to the beach and dump you there. (I did my surfing on an inflatable raft,... but that's beside the point.) Apparently, Evans thinks that the waves "owe" him another good riide.
P.S. Hi Kim. Am I to understand that neither Evans' inlaws nor his wife give him a "prostitute allowance"?
