Hi Parzival. I'm Vintage, the resident "straightman" here on this Thread. I only got 2 "likes" for my original post, but you got 5 for elaborating on my post. And I've filled this "straightman" niche a couple of times before. My poor little comments go almost unacknowledged, and then Vroom! ,... my dull little comment becomes fodder for a whole comedic screenplay. I'm the Dean Martin to your Jerry Lewis. Oh, I forgot. Nobody here knows who Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis were. Never mind. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, TonusOH. The wheels in my head had been turning, and I was trying to churn out a similar scenario to what you've written here. I just didn't quite get it all together,... and it was bedtime. I'd been thinking, ""Where is his list of damages?", and "How does he (or anyone) know how much he has lost and why he's lost it?" Basically, I think we are back to the explanation from quite a few pages back,... Evans stepped on a rake, hitting himself on the head with it,... and is now suing other people for damages.

Marc (of Marc and Cora) took all the evidence of a "Lloyd Evans crime" that had been made available to him and then presented it to the police in the UK. He posted, informing us of this action he had taken, earlier in this thread.
Criminals are often caught and convicted of crimes they have committed because they get careless and brag to others about what they've done. Other times, a person commits a crime, feels bad about what they have done, and unburdens themselves by confessing their crime to another person. In the first instance, the person who confesses to having committed a crime is proud of himself. In the second instance, the person who confesses to having commited a crime is remorseful. Either way, they can be convicted of whatever crime they confess they have committed. The judge may be lenient in the sentencing phase if the convicted person is remorseful.
P.S. I realize you are talking about yet another possible crime, Derek. I didn't mean to derail the discussion of the possiblity that L.E.'s attorney may have committed the crime of extortion on Evans' behalf. The lunacy is that the lawyer's case for Evans goes like this: Unless you pay me, I will sue you for repeating my confession of a crime to other people. And, BTW, yes, I did what I confessed to you.

Here's a 7 minute youtube video that, I believe, epitomizes what we've been saying about Evans. I've had the misfortune of knowinng several narcissists in my lifetime. Now that knowledge on the subject has become abundant, it's a huge relief to me. Others see what I've seen, and they have the words to describe it. I hope Dijana will watch this short video, too.
