Yet, people turn to Evans for advice on how to handle crises in their lives when exiting Watchtower. JW's who are exiting the horrible "high control group" don't know where to go for information on their new situation. They had previously thought that "the elders" should be consulted in a crisis. Evans presents himself as the "go to" guy for all things "exjw". Kim Silvio has done a huge favor to exjw's by providing insight into the "qualifications" of Evans as a "counselor".

Well said. I always do a mental adjustment of my own opinion whenever Kim pops in to explain some phenomena relating to the Evans Debacle.

Lloyd seems, to me, to be angry with “God” in general. Exposing Catholicism as a false religion does nothing to wake up Jehovah’s Witnesses from “their” Watchtower false religion. Neither does exposing Catholicism as a false religion protect any CSA victims from Watchtower’s counter-productive judicial meeting rule book.
Wiki gives a newly minted term: slacktivism.

I had to search back to see what I'd been commenting on, ozziepost.
DerekMoors had commented,
"That's exactly one of his hypocrisies, back when he was calling protestors and anyone who disagreed with him "regressive activists" and said that they were "setting the movement backward."

Derek, Kim, Tonus,...I agree. On the premise of "keeping the peace", people will muzzle the one speaking truth. They will even lable the person who speaks truth as being the trouble-maker. This happens both within Watchtower and outside of Watchtower. Truth is what matters. A "movement" only has value if it is based on truth and integrity.
