Thanks, Jehalapeno:
He’s a graduate of MTS. (Ministerial Training School). Basically Gilead for single brothers.
So, the Org says:
"During the eight-week course, students undertake an intensive study of the Bible."

David Pakman's interview of Lloyd Evans is still available online. It was posted eight years ago. Lloyd looked and sounded good back then. But I did have to smile at one part of the blurb introducing Lloyd. It says:
https://davidpakman.com/interviews/lloyd-evans/
"John Cedars, former Jehovah’s Witness elder and a 2005 graduate of one of the religion’s training schools and Senior Editor of JWsurvey.org — one of the foremost blog sites in the Ex-Jehovah’s Witness community, joins David to discuss his story and issues surrounding his former religion."
"... a 2005 graduate of one of the religion's training schools..."? Was this an "elder's school"? How many days long would it have been? Maybe a week long? Probably no more than two weeks long?

That's funny, noncoincollector.

*Prophets to Profits: How to take money from ex-cult survivors"
That would be a great title, Simon. You made me smile.
“usualusername1”, as to a Twitter account called @blockedbylloyd, yes, ...and then you could put out a call offering a support group for all exiting and ex-lloydivians, ...only your support group wouldn’t charge money to the ex-lloydivian survivors, of course.

Ironically, Evans is being promoted at that British facebook link. Maybe someone should give the website owners an update.
the argument made by le supporters that his philandering is "between him and his wife" is a fallacy.
philandering is a real social problem that affects many families (including mine).
it's pretty apparent now that le has been using his wife and his in-laws to boost his writing career, and now that he has achieved his goals, he will discard them.
Hi, Marbles. I've appreciated your posts. What you've said even serves me as research information. I recently had a long correspondence with a Christian man who could not see my point about polygamy being a sin for Christians. He referred to a text showing that some early Christians were slaves. Then, earlier this evening, I thought, "Well, if a woman in a polygamous relationship is actually a "sex-slave", let's call the police!" But the Christian man has finished with talking to me about the subject, so I doubt I'll be sharing my epiphany with him. Anyway, you've obviously given deep thought to this subject.
like many, i’ve been bemused at lloyd evan’s excuses/reasons for his lusting after prostitutes.
apparently, as he claims in his disastrous video, he blames his wife for being inadequate between the sheets.. could the real answer to his ‘problem’ be closer to home?.
perhaps if he consulted a medical person or even a sex therapist he may learn his “problem” is not down to the borg at all, it may simply be caused by his weight i.e.
Hi, No-zombie. Your comment made a point that I may use in a future article. (I've written one already.) I'm glad that you took the time to put your thoughts into words.
The last sentence in your above comment says, "And if you are now a true atheist yourself, then what does it matter what a person does ... as all human value systems, are just unreal constructs created over time by society. In fact in times past, what Lloyd has done was totally normal."
The article I plan to write is against polygamy for Christians. Polygamy is based on a 'human value system". Christ didn't give his approval to the "construct" of polygamy for his followers. To become a Christian, a polygamist must send away his extra wives. And to become a Christian, an extra wife must leave the polygamist man. To many non-christians, polygamy has been presented as "totally normal". But for Christians, polygamy is adultery.

JeffT, I agree. Even a small justifiable and legitimate civil suit is completely exhausting and can easily drag on for a year. Suits that are filed on a contingency basis turn the client who places the lawsuit into the slave of the lawyer. The lawyer decides when and how often the client must show up for appointments, otherwise the contingency arrangement disappears and the client must pay all legal costs himself.

That was a great quote, Diogenesister. I’m going to buy one of Jennifer Freyd’s books on Amazon or second-hand, online.

Here's a clip from "The Closer" where Brenda gives a very funny non-apology-apology. It's less than 2 minutes long if you start at the 3-minute mark. I'm thinking of Cedar's apology on a previous page.
