I’m trying to follow the logic, if there is any. Lloyd hired the Croatian lawyer who filed Lloyd’s case. Lloyd said “whew. I’m glad that’s done. Now I can get on with my important work”. Then Lloyd goes to UK for a month to get yet another lawyer (solicitor? pardon) to file a suit in the UK, too? Is filing suits Lloyd’s new important work?
Okay, we don’t know yet what he’s doing or not doing in the UK, right?

The title of Cedars’ book, “The Reluctant Apostate”, made it sound like he was saying that he didn’t want to be an apostate, but he had to be, or that he was forced to be an apostate. I didn’t buy or read his book. Was there anything in the book that explained what he meant by that title?

People “whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron” just confabulate “what’s right and what’s wrong” as they go along. They don’t seem to care if they end up contradicting themselves, as long as they can keep coming up with justifications for whatever they want to do.

Thank you, Simon. I believe Jojorabit’s dissertation on logical reasoning deserves its own thread somewhere else,... ANYWHERE else. Some of us have actually gone to college, studied Logic, and gotten an “A” in Logic.
