I have a confession to make. When I was finally able to watch Leah Remimi’s first CSA special show (about ten days after it first aired), and I saw Lloyd Evans there as a panelist, that “raised” Lloyd Evans’ status in my estimation. I was surprised to see him there. I thought, “Hmm. I didn’t know that he had been helping with the CSA legal struggle. Well, good for him.” And now, recently, I read something here about how he had (what to call this?) “elbowed” his way onto that panel. A particular word comes to my mind. Yourdictionary gives this definition for...
“publicity hound”:
(idiomatic) A person who constantly seeks public attention, especially through coverage in the broadcast media or news media.

Thanks, RF and LMsA. I’d once been stunned to run across a short account on reddit that mentioned two of my relatives. It was before I woke up,... and before I would read absolutely anything “apostate”. I’d Googled the names of my relatives, and found myself reading about them and also my previous circuit overseer. I’d had no idea anything like that could be found on the internet.

Is it off-limits to ask what Lloyd Evans’ (elder) Father’s name is? Sometimes there are personal stories out on the internet where people talk about the experiences they have had with a particular elder, circuit overseer, district overseer, or their wives, etc.

In comments under one of Eric Wilson’s youtube videos, I read where one man’s relative had a decision reversed on appeal. I replied with a comment that that must have been one really poorly done original judicial meeting.

I completely agree, Simon.
In one of his “apostasy” videos, Eric Wilson says that Watchtower’s “verbal” rules take precedence over their “written” rules. That was also my experience in my own case.

So true, ozziepost. I was one of those who was determined to “stay faithful”, no matter what. But after years of unannounced (and unprovable) marking, one day I decided to look into “Ray Franz”. Three years ago, seeing that the Governing Body was just a group of unspiritual men allowed me to “wake up”. Christian freedom is now mine. It’s great to be here with you, ozziepost, Anna Marina, and all the others who have broken the shackles of Watchtower.
