Back on page 581, “was a new boy” posted a link to Mark O’Donnell’s website. https://www.jwchildabuse.org/news/jehovahs-witnesses-post-mandatory-reporting-training-instructions-existing-policies-unchanged/
On that site is a new (Oct 4) article about an online Illinois government training on CSA that elders are being told by the Society to take. Of interest, there’s no change in the protection Watchtower provides JW pedophiles. Also, elders are instructed by Watchtower to identify themselves on the training “sign up” as “religious volunteers” and for them to answer the question, “Who is your employer?” by saying “none”. Basically, that will protect Watchtower legally and leave the elders exposed to lawsuits and prosecution. Any wife of any elder should think about the repercussions to her and her children if her “elder” husband gets fined or imprisoned because of following Watchtower-Bethel’s-service-desk orders which go against state law.

There truly is wickedness in the world. Watchtower is one kind of “wicked”. But just because we’ve gotten free of Watchtower doesn’t mean that we can run outside and begin embracing everyone.

I didn’t know that Leah Remini’s show had been “cancelled”. I remember that it had sounded like she was going to expose more groups and perhaps do a sequel on JWs, but then I never saw any more shows from her. How was the cancelling of her show announced and who was in charge of cancelling it? What a shame that she wanted to do more, but couldn’t.

On the WT deaf videos front,... “On November 14, 2014, Jehovah’s Witnesses began relocating their American Sign Language (ASL) translation team to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from the Watchtower Educational Center in Patterson, New York.” ...quoting the org.
Watchtower has gone “all out” to dominate the “deaf videos” scene. My guess is that “helping the deaf” bolsters Watchtower’s claim to some tax exemption. We know that Watchtower isn’t interested in “helping the deaf”, any more than they want to help the rest of humankind.
P.S. I did laugh at Betty Humpter’s post. :) That’s a typical Judge Judy facial expression, btw,... for those who don’t see her on TV.

I was noticing Lloyd's eyebrows in the above screenshot. Google says:

True. As I recall, we'd thpught that he might be using a green screen as the result of possibly no longer having access to his family "bunker". So, he was more annoyed at the suggestion that he might be persona non grata in his in-law's home than at the suggestion that he might be using a green sceen per se.
