Prûner, I think 144thousand_and_one was referring to to when some unsuspecting soul "buys into" Lloyd (believes him) and then, on finding out who he really "is", has to again go through the whole waking up process, as we did when we found out that Watchtower is a complete fraud.
P.S. 144thousand_and_one, the quotation marks at the top of the page where you write your post will make the portion you are quoting turn "yellow", showing that those are not your words but that you are quoting someone else. I think not having that top sentence in "yellow" as a quote led to some confusion.

Yes, Mark. That was when my art teacher and his wife lovingly gave money fron their own savings to a couple who claimed they had "lost everything"... only to hear that from the supposedly destitute couple.

It seems like every time he has anything mildly interesting happen to him,... or anything mildly interesting that he does, ...his first impulse is to write about it with a view to "How can I make this epic? What can I milk this for? Is there some way I can angle this for sympathy, money, kudos, pity, or carnal attraction?"

Amazing. This is my first time to read the transcript of one of Lloyd's Patrons-only videos. The "Oh Lloyd's begging" quote provides proof that he doesn't entirely wear blinders. Thanks, LMsA.
You said his video was about 17 minutes. Were you able to do mostly copy and paste?
As a coincidence, though not related to Lloyd, I'd just finished doing a Spanish translation of a 17 minute video on the Hamburg shooting. That took me two and a half days. I emailed my translation to the video creator a couple of hours ago, had supper, and am still recovering from two days of intense concentration.
