Good grief. So, tomorrow evening is the start of Tisha B'Av!
Oh, I'm sorry, for those who are not JEWISH, IT'S ONLY THE JUDAIC HOLIDAY OF MOURNING FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF THE TEMPLES.
Scholar,
I don't know about you, but I'm thinking I'd trust that the Jews would have some semblence of knowledge as to the year their own temples were destroyed. I hear that the temples were kind of important to them.
It would require a tremendous heap of arrogance for the WTS and/or their adherents to be telling these people who have mourned this event for THOUSANDS of years that they don't know when it happened. That'd be like telling a New Yorker that 9/11 didn't happen in 2001. (Once you learn what Tisha B'Av means you'll realize how perfect my comparison was - think I just broke my arm patting myself...)
For someone who grew up with close Jewish friends and who knows how important their history is to them and how it's ingrained in them, this whole JW 607BC thing is hilarious. I mean, c'mon... really? Some American dude from the 1800's knew more about Jewish history than the Jews themselves? You'd have to be pretty gullible...
It's late so I sped through the first video. It looks like you put a lot of effort into it and I need to watch more closely.
I'll look at all of them tomorrow, Londo. :)
