  i have heard of this happening before, but how often?

  its pretty rare it seems.

  i have often wondered if the elders would go this route with me since they knew i was actively sinning, but as far as i know, no jc was ever formed.

  Hey Pale, I personally am definitely not too concerned with it as I really don't have anything to lose since my family is shunning me regardless. The amount of control they have over people is interesting for sure though.

  in my comedy i am playing around with being a jw spokesman justifying the ridiculous things in the publications, website, letters and talks by governing body members.. can you give me some scandals please?.

  Will Watchtower target the inactive?

  if watchtower has no reason to df ones.

  they have just become inactive.

  I am personally in that position. I faded and was never DF or DA. I just faded away and the bros are aware of my doubts and stance on the WT. They don't seem too concerned about me at this time,. I guess it could depend on the particular body of elders, but I doubt they would all of a sudden pursue inactive ones.

  How Many Here EVER Considered Going Back To Meetings?

  in over 10 years i didn't return except for my mother's funeral.

  It actually crossed my mind about 3 years ago, but I quickly came to my senses. I attribute it to a longing for spirituality and missing my Mother. However, the WT is NOT the place for spirituality and true, unconditional love. I have learned to be happy and content with my "worldly" life.

  i was told this when i was an aspiring jw, aka unbaptized publisher.

  the above explanation didn't make sense to me then and it never did make sense throughout my jw career.

  over time, it appeared to me the real purpose of field service time reporting was to gauge one's spirituality and for the ceo *cough* co to make sure the elders were on top of things during his visit..

  I was told this when I was an aspiring JW, aka unbaptized publisher. The above explanation didn't make sense to me then and it never did make sense throughout my JW career. Over time, it appeared to me the real purpose of field service time reporting was to gauge one's spirituality and for the CEO *cough* CO to make sure the elders were on top of things during his visit.

  How many do you figure are converted through the door to door ministry?

  i regular pioneered for 2 years and never have actually converted anyone through the door to door work, in fact, i only knew a few individuals that joined this way.

  most were born-in or at least had some type of family influence.

  i had several bible studies but they all got cold feet when things got serious and potential baptism was discussed.

Most were born-in or at least had some type of family influence. I had several bible studies but they all got cold feet when things got serious and potential baptism was discussed. Looking back the entire experience was just a waste of time and meaningless. A lot of empty homes, coffee breaks and people uninterested in what we had to say.

  the internet is what helped bring me and so many others out of this evil organization or at least confirmed our doubts.

  i have to say, i have seen quite a few youtube videos recently of ex jw's secretly recording their interactions inside of different congregations, halls, etc and see how empty the halls are!

  so many people comment on how the attendance is so low, far more emptier than when i was in 6 years ago, even on a weekday meeting.

I have to say, I have seen quite a few YouTube videos recently of ex JW's secretly recording their interactions inside of different congregations, halls, etc and see how empty the halls are! So many people comment on how the attendance is so low, far more emptier than when I was in 6 years ago, even on a weekday meeting. Of course congregation size obviously varies by location, but still, there does seem to be a trend in lower attendance. Thoughts?
