The Internet, JWs and Being Told Dont Use It.
by uwishufish inas a public school teacher and standing in front of a class room i found it a way to advocate something questionable such as a borderline tv show or the radio show of risquay djs by telling the class this was not good and they should not listen to these.
knowing all the while the next morning on the way to school they would be listening to bob and tom in the morning.. so do any of you believe that some of the jws take being told don't use the internet is their que to open their browser?.

The warning from the Watchtower, Mormon, Scientologist and ALL other cult like minority religious leaders are identical. They ALL tell their people not to look up internet sites that say anything about them because it is all lies. It is exactly like the WWII ban on radios that Hitler put on the Jews with the penalty of death for violators. If they hear information about how the other side is doing and is sitting on the out skirts of town, they “begin to think” and eventually free themselves from the mental grip held by their corrupt captors and realize freedom is close.
We are living in an unparalleled age of instant world wide information exchange. Any person who can read and has a mind able to use critical thinking can now read about BOTH side of any issue. They can ask questions without fear of reprisal, in the privacy of their own homes, and with that critical thinking ability, make a decision for them self instead of having somebody else make it for them.
The next stage of this instant information exchange phenomenon will be the various ex-members of all these cult like minority religions to realize they are all virtually the same.
Not in rejected dogma specifics but in the identical and sometimes exact way they all have been programmed and controlled.
Once questioning or doubting cult followers let their programmed but curious guards down to sneak a peek at the “other guys apostates” their critical thinking abilities might kick in and open them up to questioning their own thoughts and beliefs in relation to their own religion’s apostates. Seeing how the other religion that claims to be the “one and only true religion” is manipulating and controlling their followers, it might make some see that it is almost exactly the same for them.
After all, if every other religion is false, then the apostates who expose those false teaching must be right. It’s a first step to self realization for those who have been cut off from thinking on their own. It is the ultimate provocation of closed mind.
The old closed minded generations of cult like minority religious followers will die off and the younger more informed generation will not be so easily conned into the old cult’s control.
It will be a critical thinking snowball effect once it gets started.
It’s starting to happen now.

State A Simple Opinion About JWD Members
by nicolaou inwe share a common past but have travelled many different roads to find each other here.
our outlooks and perceptions of reality are varied and often fascinating.
most of us are encouraging, funny, helpful and kind while others are still wrapped in bitterness and hatred or suffering from despair and privation.

Hey Minhole,
I thought you went on vacation? I also thought you were restricted.
What’s up?
Just because I don’t post much anymore doesn’t mean I don’t read the board.
Have a good trip.

Min,
How’s the EX? You aren’t going to believe it but I have my ex-wife cleaning my place now. She comes in a couple times a month and I pay her $30.00 an hour to clean (my youngest son set it up). I haven’t seen her in over five years. She just split with her last suck** I mean husband and she has gone back to her JW career as a house cleaner. It’s working out great. She cleans and bitches about her latest hubby and I completely ignore her and just read your stupid posts on JWD. Life is starting make sense again.
WH,
Long time no read. How ya do’n woman? Are you trying to hide your real name (S****) now? I have a problem calling you Wild Horses
I hate to ask but could you also quote those other scriptures? I don’t own a bible no mo. I lost mine in a poker game years ago.
Thank you.
I believe the term is Fartett.
Big hug back at’cha and give your hubby a smack up side his head for me.

Low,
The exMo’s or PostMo’s (as they liked to be called) have made some references to Jell-O but it seems to be slanted to a Leave it to Beaver, Stepford wives scenario. I haven’t mentioned Jell-O shots to them yet. They can only handle a little bit of deprogramming at a time. Jell-O salad straight to Jell-O shots might be a little too much for them.
They call the active Mormons “Sheeple” I like that one. It fits “some” active JW’s too. They are like most of the intelligent poster on this board. They don’t hate Mormons but only feel they are good hearted people with good intentions who are blinded to anything resembling the truth about Mormonism. Much like the JW’s and even Scientologist.
Min,
Don’t be like that. I know you love to currupt people. You still dating that really good looking hooker?
Steve,
Old fart my ass buddy! I’m is do’n good. I think. How’s Florida? You still got some dry land there?
Now if you three jokers could back off of your computers and go back on your oxygen some really nice people can help me out.

One of the people responding to my comment asked about the no birthdays and no Christmas JW club rules. I know the mind control technique and child like reasoning Rutherford pulled out of his ass for those two, but since I have been out of the club for over 20 years I forgot the scriptures he twisted and taffy pulled to come up with those “be no part of the world” rules.
I would like respond to his question in a new thread but would like to include the scripture twists as accurately as possible. Particularly the one they allude to that says something like a day of ones death being more important than the day of ones birth and the one where John’s head was served up as a party horderve at some big bad old pagan king’s birthday party. Also the one where it says god tires of mans celebrations, like he has to clean up the after party mess or something.
The Christmas one and baby Jesus wrong date for his birthday I think I can handle with out the twisted scripture reasoning and just blaming it on those damn pagans and no birthday policy. I don’t really want to go into their on again off again blood and blow job bans yet so the birthday scripture stuff will suffice for now.
The ex-Mormons are a great group and a lot of fun. The few active Mormons who visit here at JWD are as afraid of them and think all they do is spread vicious apostate lies just like the active JW’s do when they talk about this place.
The fear is strong with in them Luke.
To anyone who can help, I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you,

CONCERED WITNESSES ARE SIGNING UP FOR LIVE TELEPHONE CONFERENCE

Kool Aid Man,
First, why the screen name “Kool Aid Man”?
Second, you say there is no hidden agenda but isn’t your relationship with your sister site Upper Room Ministries a hidden agenda? Don’t you use similar tactic’s as the JW’s do by presenting information that puts the JW cult in a bad light in an attempt to put your Upper Room Ministries in a favorable one?
Do you, or do you not, have your Upper room Ministries and born again Christian philosophy as our ultimate agenda? If not, then why no information on going to other churches, religions or Atheist and agnostic alternative information for the JW’s you say you care so much about because they are in a cult?
If you want the respect of those on this board, be up front and give a full disclosure of your objectives.
I saw the video on your site with the guy talking about mind control. I didn’t see the whole thing but from what I saw and listened to, I though he was fairly accurate on the subject. Since he was affiliated with your URM I quit watching (I didn't have time for the full sales pitch).
To me it was using somewhat of a bate and switch technique. I see no difference in your techniques and those used by the Watchtower, Mormons or even the Scientologist. Entice then dice, slice and state your price .
If you are tying to start a new “god company” and try to make a living doing something you know how to do, then so be it and good for you. That is understandable. But, be up front with it. Spell it out in the first paragraph.
Your advertising techniques of “Attention getting tabloid “HEAD LINES” on this thread and gloom and doom music you use on your web site is a big turn off to anyone who is not easily persuaded by such sophomoric boogymanisems.
Good luck with your new church. I hope you get a lot of Christian followers that can help you fill it. But, please do not try to insult the intelligence or feeling of kindred spirit of others on this board who do not appreciate or share your agenda or objective.
Take care,

Van Morrison - Your Favorite Album or Songs From Him ?
by flipper intruly an amazing artist and songwriter of our time has been van morrison .
from the time he started in the 60's till today, he continues to pump out soulful, bluesy, great tunes, not only as a vocalist, but as an accomplished musician as well !
what are your all time favorite songs by him ?
-

Van Morrison is absolutely one of my all time favorites. His song “into the Mystic” is my favorite song of all time.
The discussion board name I use “seven006” comes from a song from Bob Seger “Feel like a number”. One of his biggest influences in his music is Van Morrison. My musical mind is stuck in the 70’s. But not disco. I hate disco. Disco makes me want to puke mirror clad disco balls.
