There are more than 6 Billion Buddhist YoYo, maybe they are right? Have you ever read the story of Buddha? It reads like the story of Christ.

Walking on water, healing the sick and blind, Virgin birth, 12 apostles, sheep and goats, sky darkening on his death, prophesied birth as a savior, even down to the parable of the lady and the mustard seed. It's almost word for word.

The funny thing is, the story of Buddha is 500 years older than the same story of Christ. Just thought I would let you build your faith up a little on that one. I'm sure you have never read that story, its forbidden reading for faithful JW's. Makes it easy for the JW leaders to keep all you guys in the dark!

Makes you wonder a little bit dosen't it? If you have the truth a little outside reading shouldn't shake your faith now will it? Go'head, make my day! I'll even give you the web site link if you like. It's interesting reading.

I appreciate your comment and I understand where you are coming from. I am in no way under the delusion that I am going to convince YoYo of anything. I am playing with him more for entertainment purposes than anything else. I am very familiar with his inability to reason. That's what makes it fun.

I am not cruel or vulgarly insulting to him. I am just having fun watching him squirm a little. I know he can't see himself squirm but the rest of us can. I think he has a good heart and he means well. I also think he has the ability to laugh at himself. Sometimes that's the best thing in finally discovering that you have been lying to yourself. I'll bet you money he hates doing the door to door work. If he is smart like I was he is going out in service with an elder. That means he is going on the same back calls week after week and avoiding the embarrassment of knocking on peoples doors. The sad part is I'll also bet he will never admit that.

I don't believe for it a second when he says this little adventure has strengthen his faith in the religion.
I think he has some real guts coming on to this board. I have seen his level and style of posting change dramatically in the last week. If he is as smart as I think he is, he will be leaving us soon. He has a wife and kids in the religion. That is a big influence to keep him saying what he is saying.

I may be wrong and I do not like to say that I know what other people are thinking like he does to me, but I can only go by what I see and read. Everyone here can read him like a book. We've all experienced the same exact story in our own lives.

My interview with Jehovah's Witnesses

i know i said i wouldn't post here again because of the way i made everyone upset over alanf,but i thought you all might want to know what took place and i do need some advice.. .

yesterday i took a little time out to talk with jehovah's witnesses.

at first they were more than happy to answer my questions.

Your partner sound like a real smart ass. We'd probably get along just great. If you don't retain some kind of a sense of humor in that job you end up shooting the wrong people. That is frowned on in most departments. I still get a kick out of calling pot/grass "green vegetable material."

Your comments about JW parents loving their children is well taken. I don't think anyone on this board thinks that all JW people are evil like they think we are. The major complaint by most on this board is their obstinate stance on certain issues like disfellowshipping, shunning, blood, and the over all self righteous attitude that is hidden among their ranks. You will never see how they look at us or feel the pain that one has when their family is mentally kidnapped from them and you are looked at as if you are dead.

The JW's will show the outside world a nice little Rockwellian painting with happy little kids and loving parents. We have all experienced their brand of love. Until you see it through our eyes you will never understand. Just like the German people during world war two, they looked at Hitler as their savior and were convinced he would bring them out of their economic devastation. At first he looked good but as his power increased so did his real intention of total domination. The German people were duped just as the JW's are duped by their power hungry and mind controlling leaders.

The JW's are taught love, compassion and understanding but it is in the direction of their own kind. You mentioned before how the JW's must have love for their neighbor because they go door to door all the time talking to them. What you don't know is that is as far as it goes. If their neighbor does not show interest in their religion (which most don't) the JW's will not lift a finger to try and associate with them. You are considered spiritually weak if you associate with "worldly people. That is not love. It is all for show Danni, just like the phony smiles they have in front of the people in their own congregations who do not fit into their little clicks. I belonged to four different congregations in my life and the story was the same in each one of them. Judging each other is their greatest theological virtue and they mistake that as love.

What you see on the outside is not the way it is in real life. I feel bad for them. They want to love and lead a good life but the boundaries on having a complete understanding of what love really is has blinded them to look no further than the teachings of the watchtower publications. They are worshipers of a cultish religious theory. Their publications are their god. That is why once you start going door to door to spread their teachings you are called a "publisher."

There is more to it than you will want to find out Danni. I admire your effort and applaud your drive. Trust me when I say you will soon tire of it and see that you cannot reason with brainwashed minds. I can tell you one thing, the guy you are interested in who got you started on this quest is probably in some hot water right now. Especially if you two have been meeting for lunch and things like that. Don't be surprised if he looks at you like you have the plegue now. I hope I am wrong here but I'v seen it before, it's all part of the game.

PS: I'm sure you already know this but if you get the permission from a person to record them first it is not against the law. If they refuse to let you record them then taking notes will work just as well.

Again YoYo you are under the illusion that you know what I am thinking. Your response to me on this matter is just another side step because you do not have a logical answer.

I am telling you right here and now that I "do" want you to answer the question I have posted four times to you. Telling me what you think I think is not an answer. It is a JW diversionary tactic used when you know in your heart and in your mind that you are wrong.

Prove me wrong YoYo, I need to be put in my place. I am bad and I need proper direction. Give me an answer that is logical and makes sense and I will look like a total idiot. I like looking like an idiot, that's fun stuff for me.

Please do not come back with another lame excuse for not answering the question. Just answer it. I'm here just waiting to be put in my place!

Danni,
you little trouble maker! This is funny as hell. You have just experienced the traditional dance of the squirming JW. I would have loved to see the expression on their faces when you took them off guard. Does it remind you of doing an interrogation with someone who has something to hide?

Before you go much further you should know that this discussion board is being monitored by the JW religion and that any information given to you or that you give out will be given to their legal department in an effort to cover their ass.

The JW religion has about a billion dollars sitting in their nonprofit bank account and they have legal resources that are used in an attempt to wear their accusers out financially.

You might want to email Bill Bowen from silent lambs directly to get specific cases and proper documentation. I know there was a court battle recently in the state of Washington that sent the asshole molester to jail. I guess the state of Washington is perpetrating lies just like all us evil apostates. Bill also has a contact with a woman who worked at the Bethel headquarters in Brooklyn and has direct knowledge of the JW policy to conceal molestation cases.

The policy has recently changed because of a few peoples efforts to expose this issue. The JW"s are great at changing things to fit their needs and to try and cover their ass. They call it "new light."

Personally I would not give them samples of the questions you are going to ask. They are not under arrest nor are they under criminal investigation. You are just a person who has some questions about a few of their religious policies and you just happen to be a cop.

Alan's suggestion of the small tape recorder is a good one. The JW's are masters of coming back once they are caught in a lie and saying "We never said that, you must have misunderstood."
Also why you are asking your questions, take notes or ask the person to give their full name to identify themselves in relation to their answers.

Thanks for letting me get off my high horse. My butt was getting sore riding it for so long. That little comment put me right in my place and I apperciat you making it. Most of us exJW's love to use our brains when we comment, as with most JW's I see where you can confuse brains with ponies. I forget sometimes who I am talking to and the level of understanding they have. I will try and dummy up my responses to you and not hurt your feelings.

Here's a thought that I would like to share with you today, I'm not the one making a fool out of myself. I do not go into JW sites and preach to them and then come back with a comment of how strong I am in my convictions after preaching to them. The only thing you do on this board is prove your own insecurities in your faith. The JW's with real faith in their religion do not post here. You are on your way out of your religion but you just won't admit that to yourself. You love this board and you love talking to those of us whom you call apostates. You have not made one single comment on the three times I have posted you with YOUR scripture about associating with us.

I also see you haven't made a single comment about the long post I replied to you about the stupidity and corruption I saw at Bethel. Again, you ignore the many things your have no answer for just like the rest of the followers of your religion do.

Every time you post and run away from questions and comments made to you only shows the weakness of your religion and the level of your insecurity in its validity (that means you got some doubts here YoYo).

Thanks again for putting me in my place. I let my damn brains get the best of me sometimes and I get all embarrised and stuff. My butt feels much better now.

Damn these witness 'brown coats'

my dad is still very ill in hospital and i'm very worried about his condition.

he is going to have some tests tomorrow and may then be having surgery.

doesn't look too good at the moment .

Sorry I haven't gotten to this post until now. I was in a similar situation a few years back with my Mom. She had complications after surgery and her low Tcells count was dangerously close to killing her. She had slipped into a coma and was given a 10% chance of living. My step dad and other brothers and sisters were busy having a watchtower study in the waiting room so my sister and I went directly to her doctor and told him to give her the blood derivative that would built her cell count. We told him that we would take any responsibility for his actions and signed a a legal paper dissolving him of any liability.

I also went up to the elder who was the hospital liaison and told him that if he interfered in the slightest I would file charges of criminal assisted suicide, and criminal endangerment. I also told him if she died I'd kick the shit out of him. He backed off very quickly and left the hospitol.

Since my sister and I were as much family to my Mom as the rest of my brothers and sisters the doctor listened to us. My sister and I convinced the doctor that my step dad was too upset and confused to make rational decisions. He gave her the ambabem (spelling ?) and she pulled out of it with in two days.

I don't know what the laws are like in this manner in your country but here in the US the signature of a family member willing to back a doctor up goes a long way. Also the JW hospital liaison are big whims and are easy to kick the shit out of.

I hope your dad comes out of this. Do what ever you can and worry about the stupid ass religion later.

You have never made one single comment on this board that would lead any intelligent educated person to believe you have even the slightest ability in the field of psychiatry.

You use this board to preach sermons and ask questions that you have no intention on following up on. To tell you the truth, I think this board has shaken your faith to a frightening level for you but you are too blind and stubborn to admit it.

No one is buying your explanation here YoYo. You can lie to us but it is the lying to yourself that will cause the ultimate damage here. Many have asked you the same question several times including me, Do you think we are all idiots?

I hope you figure it out someday.
