  My interview with Jehovah's Witnesses

  i know i said i wouldn't post here again because of the way i made everyone upset over alanf,but i thought you all might want to know what took place and i do need some advice.. .

  yesterday i took a little time out to talk with jehovah's witnesses.

  at first they were more than happy to answer my questions.

  Alan is busy making up for lost time. He was married to a JW woman also.

  Now he's married to an exJW woman. I know her, It's amazing he has any time to breath.

  Well it's not an official rule but being married to a JW woman like I was she sure seemed to have adopted it. I even pulled out a publication they had called the "family book" where it said she was supposed to give her wifely due and she ended up throwing the book at me.

  I wasted eight years of my sexual prime with that woman. With her attitude and the JW ban on masturbation I became a TV addict. My three sons have no idea what a miracle their birth actually was.

  I feel sorry for the girlfriends I had after I left the religion. I think a couple of them are crippled for life.

  Boy, .....the good old days.

  Get off the internet and go shoot someone Danni!

  i have been a reader of this message board for a number of years and this is the first comment i have made in that time.

  i have been part of the wts for 20 years my parents believed they had found the truth when i was 10 and from then on we hung to every word uttered from the platform at the kingdom hall.

  my wife was a witness brought up in the wts all her life so the wts was a massive part of all our familes lives from parents to brothers and sisters.

  Danni,

  The simple fact that the JW's frowning on women caring guns under their skirts would keep you out. The other is they wouldn't let you shoot anybody without express written permission from their legal department. Well.......that and rule about only having sex once a month.

  Looks like you have to stay a heathen like the rest of us!

  By the way, how is that Kevlar body armor feel in the middle of summer? Bet you wish your were a fire/man/woman/person then.

  does anyone know or heard of anyone that has sued the wbts?

  i was just wondering i was in the organization 38 years and i feel cheated out of all those years i was in.

  or how about when your disfellowshiped and your family alientates you from their lives.

  Eman,
  here is the discription of a class action. It comes from a law firm that specialized in them. You basically have only two categories in which you can file in regard to the JW's. One is "human rights violation" and the other is "hate."

  What is a Class Action?
  A class action suit may occur when many different people combine their similar complaints. This saves court time and allows a single judge to hear all the concerns at the same time, and come to one settlement for all parties. If the court agrees to certify the complaints as a class action, all class members should have equal say and rights to any monies or remedies ordered by the court.

  Thanks LB,

  I use to think the same way. Now I think for myself. I think YoYo will continue to say he believes what he says he believes because of his self pride. Once a person gets over that then they can start to grow as a human. I think his mind belongs to the watchtower society but his heart belongs to humanity. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

  If he stays in the religion for many years and one of his kids grow up and leaves the religion I think YoYo will see that blood is thicker than doctrine. If his child was DF'ed I don't think he'd turn his back on them for a second. Then he might stop lying to himself and think back to his short visit to this board. Only time will tell.

  at first glance, most people would say that there are lots of very good jws around.

  ok, we reason, maybe they are a little misguided, but most of them mean well.

  we particularly like to think that way about our friends and loved ones who are in the organisation, we dont want to regard them as being unkind and uncaring.

  I heard the story of what happened to Simon from someone on the board. If Simon does not have a problem with telling us from his own words what happened I would greatly appreciate it. I didn't go into any details because I did not hear the story first hand.
