  Since I don't know any gray people who are willing to pose for me naked I had to do this as an illustration. No, it's not a photograph. How many gray bald naked women do you know? Personally I can only think of three of them and they all live on the East coast.

  sharon like her sister janet was also raised a jw.

  she left the religion three years ago just about the same time as robert and janet.

  her husband is not a jw but did attend the occasional meeting.

  Randy,

  I do not know if this is true or not but it wouldn't surprise me. When I was asked to go back to Bethel to do some consulting for the graphics department I saw a lot of wasted equipment not being used. One was a Hell drum scanner that at the time cost a million dollars. It was sitting under a large plastic sheet and not in use. When I asked why it was covered and not being used they told me that they did not have a brother at Bethel who was qualified to operate it.

  One of the problems that I pointed out to the elder who was in charge of the entire publications department was that most of the people in charge of the graphics, art and photography departments didn't have a clue what they were doing. It was explained to me that the first and most important qualification for someone coming back to Bethel to work was their spiritual qualifications. This left little room for people who could have the expertise to run any department or complicated piece of equipment efficiently. Anyone who had advanced to the level of top management in a company that could do the equal job at Bethel wouldn't be interested in taking the 95% pay cut.

  Basically as I saw it, they had a lot of spiritually strong total fuck ups running the key departments at Bethel. They didn't like my synopses of what I had seen and my suggestions to fix it did not get put into use. Using an outside printer might keep the cost of scrap and out of register printing at a minimum. The watchtower is the largest, if not, one of the largest users of paper in the USA. When you buys millions of dollars worth of paper a month to run your publishing company even a small percentage of waste due to mistakes made by unqualified people can run into millions of dollars

  BTW. I have been working on some of the graphics for your site and should have a 3D illustration for you to look at within a day or so.

  Leave it to Alan to try and simplify his life by marring a woman who has the same name as his daughter. Makes yelling out "hey Julie get me a beer" a lot more efficient.

  I stated weeks ago that this was a hoax. I have not received any information to change that view. The person claiming to be Mark emailed me several times and in response I emailed back saying all I needed was to know what city he said this all happened in so I could call the department and check to see if there was an officer named Danni working for them.

  After repeated emails the name of the city was never given. All I got was repeated excuses why the name could not be given. After a while the strong smell of coffee became quite apparent and I got a good whiff of it.

  My concern was for this board and it's members more than it was for a slight chance of it being true and hurting an alleged police officers reputation. That's about it.

  One certain poster on this forum seems to enjoy stroking his insecurities by continually pointing out that I had been fooled for a while by this issue. I have given my apologies and stated what I thought more than once. I have also told this poster that he and he alone is a member of this board that I will never respond to again. I do not need to play his games or be used as a tool to stroke his low self esteem and lack of intelligence. Some people cannot stand it when others may know something they don't. They have to try and point out mistakes by others as a way to make themselves look superior and gain some attention. It is a childish game and I will not play it. This person knows exactly who he is and if he responds to this post I will not comment back.

  Welcome to the world of Robert Bryant, a world in which a perceived mental illness and his known religious conflicts came crashing together to produce a terrible crime against humanity. Welcome to the world of Jehovah's Witnesses, a religion that many consider a cult.

  But before you judge the members of Jehovah's Witnesses, remember that judgment is the weapon this religion uses to control the minds and souls of its followers. Before you judge Robert Bryant, remember that his mind and his soul were shaped, then cast aside by the religion that dominated his life. His unthinkable response was to leave this world, and take his family with him.

  Perhaps, as spoken this week by his surviving sister-in-law, Robert Bryant's purpose for being on this earth was to deliver the message that comes from this tragedy. That message, said Sharon Roe, is that you have no right to judge men in the way that the Jehovah's Witnesses judged Robert Bryant, in the way that this religion and others have judged and damaged so many people throughout history. She wants to believe that something of value and consequence can come from this act that stunned our community, our state, our nation.

  I want to believe that, too.

  I know that our Constitution gives the Jehovah's Witnesses, and others, the right to judge men in any way that they choose, and that our forefathers died to protect that right. But we have another important right, that of free speech.

  We have the right to speak out when a religion produces astonishing levels of psychological abuse. We have the right to say that it's wrong, dead wrong, and to ask for a change.

  I join Sharon Roe in exercising that right.
