Conscience Issues?

I Write Some Poetry Myself

i've enjoyed frenchy's poems so much, i thought since this forum seems to have hit a lull, i might share one that i wrote several years ago when my 17 year old son left home (and the "truth") - and broke my heart.. he is a very bright and introspective young man, a poet heavily into dylan, lennon, and all those anti-establishment heroes of oddly enough my generation.

waiting-I just realized something. I was laying it on pretty thick over on your thread about lying
and here I am no better than those I was objecting
to by being a closet voter. I am a liar by remaining silent whenever the subject was brought up by my parents and among the friends. I've never
been a hypocrite before-feels wierd.

lying generally involves saying something false to a person who is entitled to know the truth and doing so with the intent to deceive or to injure him or another person.

My thoughts and not an answer to any specific question: An excuse or justification for a lie cannot be found if I have made faith in Jehovah God and obedience to his will the major rule of my life. Aren't we instructed not to do evil to derive good? Lying comes from the heartMt 15-18. We are not to lie to one another since we have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of him who created him...Col 3-9. Scripture may be twisted to suit many agendas-even my own. I could never honestly see how Mt 7:6
was used to justify the withholding of information-I don't think that's what Jesus meant
at all-maybe I just not entitled to know.

Hey, I don't know about you but I plan on doing something more with my free time in paradise than petting the lions. Soul Calibur is my favorite and Sophitia is my character. I kick some butt with my Omega Sword. I take it easy on Kilik because I'm so in love with him I can't think straight. Rent this game for the Dreamcast and enjoy.

I wish I would have had my first trip to the polls
on video-Trench coat, Men In Black type sunglasses, a borrowed car. It was too much. Elizabeth Dole was the inspiration behind my Jane Bond act. Any woman who would 'fess on national TV

times she was too busy to stand around in the kitchen-was worth risking living forever on Paradise Earth for. She reminds me of what waiting
would have been like had she not been a JW. I don't vote in every election but let me tell you-what an adrenaline rush. I don't call this loving the world too much-I call it wanting it to change it. Ooops, I can see the vultures circling now.
