  Frenchy-I think we all do things to fill the void. You write; I paint; dubby has his dirt bike; RedhorseWoman-her red horse; and waiting is just plain cool. Oh, and Simon has this board. Last but not least we have each other.

  Frenchy, What a great post this morning! There are
  many nights when I want to do nothing more than stay in the dream,as you put it. There are things that exist there that are no longer part of
  my reality-family and friends. You also spoke of an exodus and maybe after testing the waters of isolation until we feel comfortable that we can adapt and survive-we do just that.

  Why do you ask? Do you not know where you are? Many of us are simply here to talk, away from the crusaders and away from the front lines. We are all unique individuals who in spite of our differences have somehow become friends.

  does everyone remember the wt stating that in the new system, after everyone has been resurrected, there will be at least one acre per person?.

  didn't that seem like a lot of space to you?

  Qualified to be elders?

  this is an issue that really bothers me.

  the elders are supposed to be looking after the well being of the congregation.

  they are supposed to be helping those in need.

  Rather than echo what has already been well expressed here-I'll make these few comments. Elders must become more approachable. I would prefer to suffer in silence than to have to deal with the outcome of seeking their counsel on personal matters. It's all a matter of trust. The shepherd should not be an object of fear.
