  ... a woman has been filmed in the gym wearing gym clothes.

  at least, according to the daily mail.. the deeply conservative (that's polite speak for 'religious and demented') kingdom has apparently closed the gym down and threatened to prosecute the person who filmed the gorgeous young woman in lycra.. although i believe that female gym users can wear gym gear in any gym, what's especially ludicrous is: she was filmed in a female gym!.

  New data movement this is what I see as their goals .

  after listening to the leaked videos this is what i think it’s all about.

  first i don’t believe they will want to much personal information ie bank accounts etc do to potential legal problems down the road.

  what i think is their goal is once all publishers are in the data base they then have no need for written information about any issue concerning a publisher and how issues are handled by elders and the branch etc... this information now is in their own data base and can be deleted or manipulated by them at any time.

  What records if any would they have on me? Baptized in 1975, and faded in 1979. Have not been back since, though my parents have remained in and I went once a year to the memorial to please my now deceased mother.

  Probably none - but i thought I would ask you kind folks for your opinions.

  Meeting Days Felt Different?

  i dont know if it was the same for you, but for me when i was a jw meeting days seemed to have a black cloud hanging over them.

  on thursdays i knew i would be going to the meeting that evening.

  that i would be getting into my meeting clothes at 6:30pm, leaving the house at 6:55pm and be sat in the kingdom hall from 7:15pm-9pm, then milling around for about half an hour before finally getting home for 10pm.

  Pale - this is a post I really relate to.

  Hadn't thought of it in years, but yes - the dreaded Thursday night meeting, Saturday morning FS, Sunday afternoon meeting, Monday night family book study and Tuesday night book study. That left Wednesday as the only free day. As a kid I seemed to have that cloud all the time. Even on the nights we weren't going to meetings or what have you we were expected to prepare for the watchtower by reading and underlining things. Not to mention school work 5 days a week.

  I grew up missing out on organized sports, parties and just playing and having fun with the other kids. They are the worldly kids - don't play with them. So even when we had time off it was pretty lonely.

  No wonder I have stress stomach issues now. Gosh it gives me grief to even think about it now after so long.

  there are so many jehovah's witnesses that saw this documentary and were disgusted by watchtowers policy.

  Will the Watchtower Company in the near future start asking for a tithe?

  it appears that the borg has some financial issues and i would think they are related to the hush money being paid out for the child molestation lawsuits to protect the guilty cult members and the fine untarnished reputation of the jdubs.. we have seen how much the borg refers to the hebrew scriptures for their guiding principles whenever it suits the borg's needs.

  tithing certainly is laced throughout the old testament.

  under the mosaic law, there were three tithes.

  Higher Education allowed - new light.

  = Bring in higher $$$ from tithing based on higher education.

  My dad RIP

  my dad died 2 weeks ago on sunday.

  i will miss him so much.

  he was the funniest most greatest man i have ever known.. granted for the first 30 years i wasnt that much keen on him and i don't think he was on me much either.....let me explain.. mum and dad met in 1964, mum was the prettiest girl in the town, mini skirts, raised hair, the daintiest figure, she looked the spit of audrey hepburn at breakfast at tiffanys.

  charity is lacking from the house of god.

  i remember reading once about some young pioneer sisters who needed emergency accommodation and where turn away from brooklyn because they weren’t special pioneers.

  charity begins at home..

  i live in the sierra nevada foothills of california; a selling point for prospective homeowners in the slightly lower elevation is what is touted in the subject title.

  well, right now we are being blasted by a storm barreling down from canada, with hazardous driving and blizzard conditions in the offing, higher up.. as to fog, this photo offers a rare display of misty conditions over our lake, that after the last major rain storm.

  it reminds me of summer days of my youth on the pacific coast..

  it doesn't make sense to me.

  bible chronology indicates that god’s kingdom was established in heaven in 1914. this is shown by a prophecy recorded in chapter 4 of the bible book of daniel.. overview of the prophecy.

  OTWO - you are correct. here is how CTR arrived at 1874, measuring the Pyramid of Giza:

  ""So, then, if we measure backward down the "First Ascending Passage" to its junction with the "Entrance Passage," we shall have a fixed date to mark upon the downward passage. This measure is 1542 inches, and indicates the year BC 1542, as the date at that point. Then measuring down the "Entrance Passage" from that point, to find the distance to the entrance of the "Pit," representing the great trouble and destruction with which this age is to close, when evil will be overthrown from power, we find it to be 3416 inches, symbolizing 3416 years from the above date, BC 1542. This calculation shows AD. 1874 as marking the beginning of the period of trouble; for 1542 years BC plus 1874 years AD. equals 3416 years. Thus the Pyramid witnesses that the close of 1874 was the chronological beginning of the time of trouble such as was not since there was a nation -- no, nor ever shall be afterward. And thus it will be noted that this "Witness" fully corroborates the Bible testimony on this subject..."
