  How many here think Trump's news conference this evening was absolutely brilliant

  i'm being serious, i would like to hear from folks here that support him describe to me how that news conference was absolute brilliance, he answered all the questions, he knows what he is talking about.

  just want to compare note with those who aren't his supporters (and have common sense) as you know this forum is here to hear both sides, so, have at it .

  sparrowdown - my thoughts exactly.

  Naked - hmm

  Extreme strength - hmmm

  Slithering under a car, naked, laying in the snow, having to drag them out with a strap - hmmmm

  The adults being pepper sprayed and tasered more than once to subdue them - hmmmmm

  Sounds like drugs to me. Are they trying to hide this from the congregation? What is the game here? Did one of the group knowingly slip them all something and now doesn't want to fess up?

  Shared psychosis perhaps, but the other bits don't really fit I don't think. Interesting for sure.

  When it happened in November of 2017 there were reports of tea drinking, but now "the agreed statement of facts submitted in court says alcohol and drugs were not factors and there is no mention of tea in the document."

  At the time "The father of the girls, ages 13 and 15, has said his daughters and their mother (his ex-wife) were having breakfast Monday morning with another couple when they decided to have some tea recently brought back from a trip overseas.

  The father said the tea was from India, but the family that was allegedly kidnapped said one of the accused had travelled earlier in the year to Thailand and South Korea." "It's absolutely crazy," said the father, who cannot be named due to a court publication ban protecting the identity of youths involved in the case. "It's a scary thought thinking, 'Oh, let's try this tea that we purchased.' And then all sit down thinking they're just going to have a nice morning and end up in that circumstance." He said the girls don't remember what happened. The Mounties have not said if they're investigating whether a hallucinogenic tea motivated the alleged crime but have said drugs and/or alcohol may have played a role."

  So why no 'tea' drinking defense now? Is there some reason they dont want that to be part of the record? Something just doesn't add up here.

  Dis-fellowshipped For Not Going To The Kingdom Hall You Are Assigned Too

  my parents started attending the glendora congregation in 1961. my mother had a strange feeling about the congregation.

  there was something going on there that just didn’t feel right.

  there was a huge exodus going on of people leaving this congregation’s kingdom hall too.

  Shortly after my mother passed away, my father (in his 80's) was assigned to a new hall. He was no longer to go to the hall where all his friends were, friends he and mom had seen several times a week for many many years. He was instead assigned to a hall with 90% immigrants who dont speak English. He has no friends there, no one speaks to him but he "MUST' go where assigned. He does go in service with the friends from the old congregation though.

  What a loving arrangement.
