Saw a great therapist and was diagnosed with post traumatic stress. Any one else?

i took your advise and found someone who could help and was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder and anxiety.

has anyone else been this route and have some positive feedback or been thru this?.

ive been reading through this forum for a while and thought i should contribute!.

so im df, i was very involved regular pioneer for several years and i slowly started to wake up.. my exprience of leaving is horendous and contains alot of shocking (but apparently not that rare in the orgs) judicials and various encounters with the elders.. ive been out 10 years now and at 27 loving life!

running a succesful business and dont all thay materialistic stuff thata frowned apon, like providing my wife and kids with a nice car and house!

for jury duty.

poor old andre, he has had an amazing exemplary life............................evidently.. .

Suicide - How many do you know within the JWs

thw wts likes to play games with their statistics.

one interesting but truly tragic is the number of jwhovah's witnesses who commit suicie.. now i suspect that if a person commits suicide shortly before or after they are disfellowshipped then the elders would say that person wasn't a witness or that they had done something so terrible that they were too guilty to admit it and by their action of committing suicide they pretty much declared they were no longer a jw.. yup fancy talk to make sure any crap didn't fall on them.. so my question.. do you know of cases like this?

if so then can you answer a few more questions.. had this person been dfed or in real danger of being dfed or whatever the equivalent is if they were never baptized?.

Exercise and meditation. (An unknowing JW compromise?)

as i was participating in some very strenuous aerobic exercise recently, it occurred to me that some of what i experience during exercise has some similarities to what i've been experiencing during meditation.

the similarity is being very aware of my body during exercise.

the difference is that in the meditation i've been trying, after becoming aware of my body, i then move away from awareness of my body.
