I agree that the thread should not be ignored. I also went back and read the previous posts by this person, and there is a lot of desperate language in many of the posts.

i feel an unfamiliar restlessness in my lower body.
too long have i been confined to my sickbed; my mind and heart coax me arise and gaze upon the world outside.
it is no longer a matter of fighting long-entrenched despair.
i hope everyone is having a good day/night.
so i was just reflecting on how happy i am to have my babies, despite the orgs.
not so subtle requests that married couples not have babies in order to further serve the org.
DY--I do not know what YOU are talking about!
When I got pregnant, after many years of pioneering, I was gossiped about and regarded as becoming un-spiritual by the childless women in the congregation. I was thrown a very beautiful baby shower, but those women did not attend, and they pretty well shunned me from then on. Weird, but true!
Anyway, my hubby and I are so thankful for that first "surprise" pregnancy and the "on purpose" pregnancy a few years later. I love being a mom to these beautiful children. Changed my life in such wonderful ways.
howdy guys!
this is our latest video on the jw broadcast in short form.
we talk about jw marriage challenges.
DY- Whatever!
Are you counting your time? 🙄
so after the 2 special pioneers visited i thought i had given them an earful about the arc and the pedophile problem in their organization surely they would have put me on the do not call list.. oh, no not my luck i get an elder and his lovely little mute wife with infant child in the stroller this morning at 9 am.
don't these people have a job to go to?
it was a car with 3 men & a woman.. we go through the standard do you read the bible yada yada, i tell them i know the routine very familiar with your game.
now that the soc has accepted the use of technology.
what is next?
could it be the disfellowshipping?
I can't see them doing away with DF/DA/ shunning anytime soon--maybe they'll give it a new "theocratic" label or something to make it seem more innocent to outsiders, but Shunning is definitely at the core of the religion's power.
I agree with those who say they will acknowledge that 144,000 in Revelation is not a literal number. It would seem like really big "new light" to RandF JWs, but it actually wouldn't change anything for GB since the 2012 "new light" established the GB as the FDS. It would provide lots material for new speculation and excitement among the troops, all the while distracting them from the issues like child abuse and $$$. I could even see this as a way to generate more cash because some JWs will be so $$ appreciative $$ that the GB has opened the gates of heaven to more folks.
They have to keep 1914 and the overlapping crap, though, because that is the only way to keep their authority as the FDS.
"Oh what a tangled web we weave..."
may 2, 2016 to all congregations in the united states branch territory re: entrance time at regional conventions.
15:4. unless we come to the realization that we have made an unscriptural promise, we should do all we can to fulfill our word, even if it is very difficult to do so.

the following is an extract from something i wrote 16 years ago soon after leaving the watchtower.
i am posting it because it may help honest jws consider how far their beliefs are at odds with new testament christians.
if they have "the truth" then their attitude to jesus ought to reflect that of the apostles.
it's been a long time since i attended, but i understand that many of you still go to the kingdom hall for your various reasons.. a huge thing that helped me in my mentally breaking from their beliefs was to stop using their terms that put you, virtually automatically, into their thought mode.. using terms like "the truth," jw's feel special about themselves and this helps them separate themselves from "the world.
" by incorporating loaded language, jw's learn not to think, but merely to memorize words and phrases instead of analyzing a situation.. the reasons someone misses meetings is because they are "spiritually weak.
" they might be involved in "worldly thinking.".
OTWO--great post!
Another big one for me is not to use the term "faithful and discreet slave" or even "Governing Body"-- I just refer to those guys using their first and last names. Example: "David Splane said ..." or "Anthony Morris this and that..."
Its funny to watch some asleep JWs get very uncomfortable when you are a still in JW that refuses to use the loaded lingo.
