If the BLM protest brings about better policing in the US, I guess everyone stands to gain and not just members of the BLM.
Similar to how the JW fought for their right to worship in the 20th century and it actually benefited other religious groups
i agree with people who say all lives matter.
i think blm is a racist group.
if white people pushed an agenda saying white lives matter, some people would have a conniption..

They do want to say All Lives Matter
I see your point. Maybe the problem is that when that statement is made, "All Lives Matter" it is often in answer to BLM which might be construed as trying to negate their movement.

If white people pushed an agenda saying White Lives Matter
Why would white people want to say that?
his murder was a crime and justice must be done, but it's sobering to learn more about the man who is being lionised by millions.
thanks as always to the courageous candace owens.. ....
@cofty
Quetzal - White people feel no desire to defend white criminals, neither do Asians or other communities.
Generalisation is the problem with this statement. There are many examples that show the contrary.
@the girl next door
Does dwelling on his faults justify his killing for some?
That is a valid question that some will like to ignore.

She made some interesting points about glorifying a criminal but she lost me when she started to throw around statistics comparing Black/White deaths.
If your child was shot by someone, the last thing you want to hear is, "Madam, do you know that what happened to your child has 1 in a million chance of happening in your street". In the eyes of a grieving mother, the stats are irrelevant.
Her comments about the black community defending it's own is very true but I am not sure if she is right that other communities do not act in the same way.
The the first Gulf way, America went to war in the middle east and some allies tagged along (The British) even when they knew the reason for the war was bogus. American's often say "you should support the troops" even if you don't believe in the war.
Candace's claim that other communities do not support their own even when it is a bad decision is not factual. Everyone does it, it is almost human nature.
That is why you get into a fight at school if someone calls your mother a "fat ugly whore". You already know that your mother is really a "fat ugly whore" but you still want to defend her. You didn't choose your mother and you would have preferred to have a "top model god fearing christian mother" but that is not the case.
Candace started off well but lost her way towards the end. She comes across as knowledgeable but she misses the point.
cities across america have been pillaged and destroyed these last few days.
a white policeman has been charged with murder of a black man.
protests have been organized across major us cities and horrible riots have occurred.
It goes much further than abolishing unions. How do you change culture?
Is it really culture or capitalism. If you take one of the latin American countries, the largest producer of the white powder, you can hardly say it is their culture that they produce and distribute their merchandise to America. It is all about capitalism and excess greed.
If you were to list most of the common problems in the world today, like human trafficking, wars, immigration, legal or illegal, prostitution, religion, charities etc, you will notice one common denominator. Capitalism -> Influence -> Power
Some suggested that if the United States were to legalize all drugs, the price of drugs like cocaine will fall and the incentive to produce and export will all but disappear. This will solve the war on drugs and related violence but what impact will that have on the banking system and the economy as a whole?
You cannot really solve it without creating another opening for someone else to take over.
This reminds me of the JW organization that forbade people from fornicating. Your average JW found a loophole around that biblical command by going through the back door or practicing hand/mouth Job. When the org discovered this, it updated its policy to Porneia. That meant no more back door practice or grabbing someone by the p***y. Guess what your average JW started to do? "don't kiss and tell" and let the holy ghost snitch on you. (This is a really bad analogy but you get my point )
My point is, when you try to fix something like racism, sexism or anything other societal issues, there is someone somewhere trying to undo your work
There have been a lot of sincere people trying to fix these issues since the 17th century in America. There have been a lot of progress and there have also been a lot of resistance.
It is a mistake to think that there is a simple solution to such a complex problem.

The question is why are we kept here. Why does nothing progress?
Poverty and ignorance are profitable.
The same question was asked about the war on drug and "why does nothing progress?"
The answer, the American economy is heavily reliant on the many branches of the narco business.
I'll start with one: abolish public sector unions that protect police and teachers from the abuse their members inflict on the public they are meant to serve. Oh, suddenly it goes quiet and the appetite for change will vanish and we'll be back hearing about "systemic racism". Intentional vagueness to avoid real change.
Hint for anyone who doesn't get it yet: if you are a politician who's political office and not inconsiderable wealth is built on a combination of angry-black votes and union contributions, you don't want that shit fixed!
You are correct that there is no real desire for change from the top. Not everyone at the bottom of the pile wants change. That said, we cannot use that to dismiss the arguments of those who want real change because they have been victim of a broken system. The danger lies in painting everyone with a broad brush.
