  i hope this finds all of you well.

  i'm also hoping some of you might be able to help me with a particular type of de-witnessing strategy that i'm trying to develop more in my own discussions with active family members.

  it seems to me that analogy and metaphor plays a prominent role in the society's teaching (critical thought killing) techniques.

  Its more repression, JWs have the same feelings and desires as anyone else. They are just repressed. Sexually and other ways. Some are the two lives people. They live one way at the hall and around other dubbers but then go out with wordly friends or at work are normal. This I have seen in bigger cities where its easy to hide. Small towns where everyone knows what you ate for dinner last night not so easy.

  My old business partner was an elder. At hall he was all in, he would not watch R movies no matter what if any dubbers were around. This went for his anal retentive wife. Her daddy was an elder and an idiot who thought he was the cherry on top of the JW heap. She thought so too. When at work we would talk about Franze and apostate issues, and dirty jokes. He would even borrow my Ozzy Osborne tapes to listen in his work truck to and from work. Would never let his wife know.

  When we were at a job, we installed floorcoving, we had to move all peoples crap out of a room, I found the guys stash of porn tapes. I wanted to see what old kunts would do, [not his name, just a slang nick name] I put it in and it was hard core pron. He sat down on the couch with mouth open. He is about 32 years old at the time and he looked like he was just going in to puberty and saw a center fold for the first time. We also while waiting for some flooring to set up, sat in a living room and I played a tape of Stanly Kubrics Clock Work Orange. We watched the whole thing. He would for years after when joking do the kicking the guy in the guts while singing in the rain. dance.

  This went on for 15 years. Until I went full on butting heads with the other elders in the hall and told one that they were no better than Scientology, 607 was wrong, and CT used the pyrimids as the date code for the end and they have never been correct. bla bla bla. This elder went to my partners Father in law who was the PO at the time. Shit hit the fan and now he was told we could not work together any longer. He would barely talk while we were eating lunch the last month we worked together. I got old Kunts a job at a local carpet store and he is still there. I knew he could not work with me and my Grandfather who was alive and an elder back then said that old Walter H his FIL told him our partnership was over and done. LOL It worked well for me.   This year’s convention

  two things i noted at this year’s rc.

  1) the new teaching with respect to matthew 25:45 which was applied equally to the rank & file jw.

  this teaching is also found in the watchtower study for last sunday.. then he will answer them, saying: ‘truly i say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of these least ones, you did not do it to me.. 2) the new armageddon video which was a big shift.

  One of the big things I have noticed is that people who have gay tendencies seem to care if they are thought to be gay. I am perfectly happy being straight. but call me gay or queer and what ever dude. I could give a rip. I know a guy who was a friend, he is a JW still I believe. He would actually want to beat up gays. Find them and kick their ass. I used to tell him. I think tho protest too much. I don't think he got it. My feeling was some people who defend one way or the other too much seem emotionally involved and may have some gay tendency's . Or maybe just not well adjusted or mature. The human brain is complicated. But like profilers can tell a serial killer or even a potential serial killer because the brain preforms a certain way with a certain outcome 90 percent of the time. So to with gays and straight.

  For me it just like what Supreme Court Justice Stewart said in the 60s. I can not define in words pornography but I know it when I see it. With gays. I can tell most times something it not normal. Are there out layers sure. Are they born that way? Who knows for sure. I know some gays who try to act butch to avoid the stereotype. There is a big difference between the school geek who did not play sports and liked math and the guy who wants to braid his hair and pick flowers while wearing speedos. Scum, does your sister lie to herself, tell herself she is not a lesbian? My guess is the cog. DIs. would be high in someone like her.

  On leaving JW's and hating religion...

  it's been nearly 4 years now since i completely woke up to the watchtower lies.. thinking back on my jw life, during the time i believed, the organization truly did teach us to hate all beliefs that were contrary to the watchtower's.. i hated "false" religion.. so, when i finally woke up and applied critical thinking to my beliefs, i just went on hating religion in general...only this time i added jw's to that list.. a few months of waking up, i decided to base my beliefs on evidence.

  i didn't want to have a set of beliefs unless there was some logic or evidence behind it.

  so, now i consider myself an atheist.. and i kept on hating religion.. within the last six months or so, something has changed.

  I hate all religion. But I can tolerate some. I can not tolerate Islam, JWs. Mormons, Scientoligists, Pentecostals, southern Baptists or any radical groups.
