  Anybody here still believe in the bible?

  i'm a current bible student of jw's looking to chat with someone about biblical doctrine.

  i'm not interested in talking with an apostate or a fader, i'm just a person looking for answers and wondered if there are any neutral voices in this forum who have good insights into the bible.

  i currently talk with a couple of jw's on a personal level from my congregation and they are knowledgeable to a certain extent, but i dare not ask them certain questions because, as you know, the congregation has a culture of fear that impacts trust and openness, especially concerning biblical doctrine or the societies teachings.

  No there is no unbiased press. MSNBC totally left, Fox lean right, CNN lean left, Brighbart totally right. You have to watch all of them and you can make up your mind. I think for me its because of gulping down the Kool-aid all those years in the cult that now I am a skeptic. I don't go with all one party plank. I believe we need a national health care system, I believe in the 2nd amendment, legal pot, legal abortion to a point, a boarder wall and limited immigration and deportation of all illegals. I don't give a rip about gays or lesbians but what they do in their home is their business, Black lives matter is a terrorist org that hates cops and wants to have an excuse to riot. Higher tax on the ultra rich, and freedom from religion as much as choice of religion, separation of church and state. But not to the point where you ban Xmas from schools. No trannys in women's bathrooms. Just because you feel like a woman does not mean you are one. If I had this available when I was in high school I would be transgender if it would get me in the girls shower. Shit we took homech just so we could be near the chicks.

  Screwed up sexually

  i was thinking about how the borg screws up and sexually neuters their flock by telling them when single to "deaden their body" and then boom as soon as there's a ring on the finger to not be denying eachother.. do any of you know of jws who have been screwed up by these teachings?

  i know 2, 1 elder came back from honeymoon having a nervous breakdown unable to cope with the cd that sex produced in his head.

  and the other called up her parents while on honeymoon, crying and begging for themto come and get her, since she was so shocked that sex hurt.

  I know its messed up a lot of people. I got the talk about girls who were not virgins were like a shirt that had been tired on by people in a store and it was dirty. did you want a shit new in the package or one that was dirty and used. LOL. The cult is deranged. The one thing I have learned is how deep people are in the cult. If they had proof of a video with the GB saying is all lies and BS they would not stop believing.

  Musk and Tesla by extension is a house of cards. Musk is unhinged. Yes he started a car company but its so over blown and people who are enviornuts will run to buy the stock at such over value prices its crazy. As Tesla keeps burning through money it will be funny to watch its collapse.

  in 2 weeks we will be announcing major changes in northern ohio congregations and there is quite the buzz in the area about it.

  just talked to a jdub from the detroit area that just underwent similar changes, and they mentioned it has been "quite exciting" to get to meet new brothers and sisters.

  so besides the cash benefit of selling a couple kingdom halls in the process.
