CSN (Crosby, Stills & Nash) - one of my all time favourite bands.
I really enjoy playing this song on my guitar.

The 'IN' families
by punkofnice inone thing i don't miss about being a jobo, is those families that ruled the congregations.. i've seen how the elders protected their own using our old friend, nepotism.. eg.
the son of an elder that stole a car and was prosecuted but 'let off' because it was kept secret and all his relatives were elders in the same congregation.
it certainly went on when i was an elder but i wasn't one of the 'in' crowd.

Oh boy, I've certainly seen how 'IN' families ruled the roost in a couple of the congregations I attended. There was a distinct divide between those who were 'IN' and those that were not.
Nepotism, favouritism, and of course only 'selected' families had the CO stay with them / or invite them to lunch etc - a toxic environment indeed. So glad I'm out of that nonsense.

Favourite female heroes in film ...
by LoveUniHateExams in... well, obviously not rey (daisy ridley) from the latest star wars films.
she's a complete mary sue.
but, before hollywood tried to force sjw propaganda down our throats, there were lots of powerful, legit female characters in film.. here are some of my favourites .... ripley (sigourney weaver): i though this character was great.

ROFLMAO; thanks for sharing.
I think all the forum members who have 'served' at bethel should get together and publish a book of your experiences. It would be a best seller!

Prof Bunsen / G Jackson?? See the similarities? It's the Muppet Show!
by stuckinarut2 inperhaps someone can assist here?.
while watching the may 2017 broadcast, it struck us how similar g jackson looks (while sitting and wearing his waist coat) to the muppets character prof bunsen!!!!.
perhaps someone with better computer skills can upload the pics side by side?.

For years my genuine personality had been suppressed. I was always on edge having feelings of frustration - you couldn't do this, that or the other. It was literally doing my head in to such an extent that, at age 21, I was hospitalised with 'anxiety tension state disorder!'
After many years of battling, the 'real me' has now come to the fore.
Today, what you see is what you get, and I like to think it is good.
