Very interesting. It reports that Watchtower has little financial transparency, gets an F grade on results or good done for society, and rated low on impact on society for the dollars donated. Looking at where the money went, Watchtower only benefitted Watchtower, yet WT tries to make it look like they help everyone with charitable works.

Buildings made from cinder blocks don't cost millions. Look at some of the pictures in the publications. Some of the KH's wouldn't even be considered as a building, just a covering or a gazebo. Before lumber prices went up, i could build these at USA prices for under $1000!

Yes AM III mentioned in one of the WT videos that if you had been to Disneyland or Disneyworld and not Bethel, you were not very spiritual and your priorities were not in the right order.
watching in on my wife's zoom meeting last night, there was an item about discipline is love.
they played a 'caleb' animated cartoon and then the instructions were 'if possible, ask selected young children' several questions.. it seems however, that there are no children in my wife's current congregation so the questions were all answered by retired brothers and sisters.
the congregation mainly consists of elderly people (like us) and the few of childbearing age seem not interested in having children.
It’s true there aren’t as many kids as in years past. Some couples are deciding not to have kids, so many JW’s are leaving & taking kids or potential kids with them, and the KH’s in my area have more single sisters than ever before!
A Baptist deacon told me years ago that if a church isn’t growing it’s dying. What he said is very true! His church was comprised mostly of elderly women.
Years ago my kids were used so much that it was embarrassing. WT notices the shortage too. The instructions that call for kids to be interviewed, will now say, such as last week:”If possible, ask selected young children...”

missing meetings is frowned upon.. i once went to a 2 day assembly with 2 wisdom teeth pulled the day before.

I gave a Sunday talk when my child was seriously ill and would possibly need to be hospitalized. Blood transfusion would be an issue. Doctors had us monitoring the temperature and if it rose to a certain point, we were to immediately get to the hospital.
I was a new elder then and it had been impressed upon me that you didn’t miss important outgoing talks such as this. I was so stressed that I began crying on the closing prayer! That’s right i even stayed for the WT Study!

What if we are being played? What if the settlement was actually in favor of BMG? If it was in favor of WT, I would think that they would want it known that they will not tolerate copyright infringement. Something about this doesn't pass the smell test.

It was mentioned on the Lloyd Evans video, about the leaked convention song, that a settlement has taken place. But no details because of the confidentiality agreement.
i’ve noticed a change in family attitude recently, like there is just something extra on their mind.
i even had to call my brother to check if he was dying and too scared to tell me.
anyway, i saw a video last night my saying jws think we only have 12 months left before armageddon so thought maybe this is the reason for changes attitude.
I guess WT won't need that new video studio in upstate New York. No need to donate towards that!
This could slow down donations. The Big 8 will probably come out with an announcement to keep sending in your spiritual offerings to further the World Wide Work and not try to put a date on the "End of Times". That's their job.
